Yesterday’s project took us all the way to OguBolo, Rivers State, for a site inspection.

From the road trip, to walking through the space and mapping out what goes where, it was a day of learning, observing, and seeing ideas take shape.

So here’s a little BTS for you. I hope you enjoy it, as much as I enjoyed putting it all together. 😁

If I’m being completely real, this year hasn’t looked the way I imagined.
With all that happened from February, I’ve been navigating life one day at a time since then. Most days I’m praying (not just for myself, but for Nigeria in particular).

I don’t have a plan for what’s next, I just know I want to keep growing, keep showing up, and keep trusting that the work I’m putting in today, will make sense someday.

Do you think things will get better in Nigeria? 🇳🇬 by @edima_on_screen

Theme for today’s conference: ~Lead beyond limits.~

So, I attended The ‘SheEvolve’ conference because, I wanted to be in a room with women who were already doing the things I’m still figuring out for myself.

I wanted to listen, learn, be inspired, and remind myself that it is possible to evolve, excel and take up space in different fields while still being fully ourselves.

I left with more than just memories. I left with (She Affirms). The convener’s book, which I bought as a little reminder of the experience and the things I want to affirm about the woman I’m becoming. 💗

In 2025, I committed to reading one book per month at work, from September through December. And it was a game changer for me.
