Our first international workshop and demo, and definitely a moment we’ll remember. ✨

Bachata Rising was a big step for us.
We came into this weekend excited, but also so nervous and stressed (you can tell 😂) because sharing something that means this much to you for the first time is scary. 🥹

But the energy in the room, the people, the music, the whole community… everything about this weekend made us feel incredibly inspired, and this demo became much more emotional for us than we expected.

We weren’t thinking about making it perfect. We just wanted to dance. To listen to each other, connect, get lost in the music and share a little piece of what bachata feels like to us.
We felt every second of it, and we really hope you could feel it with us too. 🤍

A huge thank you to @lilex_a @aleksaysara for trusting us and giving us this opportunity. Thank you for inviting us, believing in what we have to share and creating a space where we could just be ourselves and do what we love. 🙏
And to everyone at @bachata_rising thank you for dancing with us, joining our workshop, cheering for us during the demo and making us feel so welcome from the very beginning.

Happy International Dance Day 💃🕺

Dancing in Novi Sad - a city that holds a special place in our hearts during the most beautiful sunset, made us feel truly alive, connected, and exactly where we’re meant to be.

When @mihajloysara revealed this location to us, we knew we had to create something here 🙏

Mi smo Igor i Edina, instruktori u Sensation Dance Studiu i za cilj imamo da unesemo svježinu i pozitivne promjene u živote naših polaznika. Ljubav prema plesu je ono što nas motivira da prenosimo znanje drugima sa željom da probudimo strast koju smo i sami otkrili kada smo počeli plesati.

Edina je svoju plesnu karijeru započela prije pet godina kada se paralelno zaljubila u bachatu i kizombu, te se do dan danas ne može odlučiti koji joj je ples draži. Emocije, konekcija sa partnerom i muzikalnost su ono što nju čini unikatnom, a što kontinuirano prenosi novim generacijama.

Igor je nešto duže u svijetu plesa sa oko pet i pol godina iskustva od kojih su četiri godine u ulozi instruktora. Sušta je suprotnost Edini sa fokusom na tehnici i analitičkom pristupu plesu i muzici iako je vremenom naučio prepustiti se emocijama. U posljednje vrijeme istražuje solo ples iako će ples u paru zauvijek biti njegova prva ljubav.

Otkako smo postali plesni partneri, prošli smo kroz razne turbulentne trenutke koje su dodatno ojačale naš odnos i produbile ljubav za plesom. Danas se toliko dobro poznajemo da često predvidimo šta će druga osoba uraditi prije nego što se to zapravo dogodi. Zajedno još uvijek istražujemo svijet plesa, a sve što samostalno naučimo, nesebično dijelimo sa našim učenicima.

Trenutno smo u procesu dodatne edukacije za instruktore, uz mentorstvo renomiranih plesača, s ciljem sticanja internacionalno priznatog certifikata. taken in Sensation Dance Studio by @edina.bachata

A special dance with @ofir_bachata 🤍

Dancing with him truly felt like a conversation.
I was so inspired by the way @ofirandofri_official approach bachata, where both partners can lead, follow, listen, and interpret the music together.
It made me realize how freeing it is to give your partner space, while feeling that same freedom to express yourself.
That connection, trust, and playfulness in the dance really opened my eyes.

So grateful for this one and all the dances we shared ✨🫶
