Stella Adler year one is in the books. Here's to getting in the ring, to commiting to growth, to the friendships made along the way and to remembering to take more videos next year. 🥂 by @edinahelen

Someone gave me control of the deleted scenes horn @entirelyfrommemory last night 🎺😈😂 was it a mistake? You'll have to ask the cast. Did I have the best time with amazing friends watching kick ass improv? Yes, yes I did! by @edinahelen

New York photo dump.
Quick update for those playing along at home:

Moved to NYC, had an amazing groups of friends show up to help pack the U-Haul. (thank you again you incredible humans, sad I didn't think of a picture until after Sidney left.) Started classes at @stellaadler where I get to work with amazing, like-minded, work-oriented, silly, kind people and learn from some talented, passionate, amazing teachers.
The dogs are happy, although Henry has to be carried up and down to our 5th floor walk-up for outside breaks.
I'm still looking for a job, and working my butt off (planking it off actually 😉.)
And loving every minute!! by @edinahelen

NYC Update holy h-bomb it is almost over:
This week we went to Little Island, walked the Highline, visited Chelsea Market and Grand Central station. I saw my voice teacher in an improvised show: Mean Girls, entirely from memory and Samuel and I saw the first preview of The Shark is Broken. I cannot believe how fast it has gone. by @edinahelen

NYC check-in, however many this one is:
Moved from Brooklyn to Jersey; I now take a train in and out of the World Trade Center every day. Started a voice over workshop, and I'm having a BLAST. I absolutely love wandering through new areas and stumbling across beauty, like the water feature and may pole(?) in Madison Square Park. The subways make sense and I train hop to save commute time like I know what I'm doing. I'm totally sold on NYC pizza and bagels, and I don't know what I'm going to do in a few weeks when we leave. Try for the Kingdom (the show Sammy is working on) is up and running and already has one rave review (I will link it later.)
Currently I am recovering from whatever bug is making its way through our group at Adler, and eager to get back to soaking up the city.
Oh, last picture is my favorite window at the studio. by @edinahelen

NYC update 4: the last couple weeks have been hectic and wonderful: @samuelcrowley63 and I celebrated our birthdays in the city, we went to a Yankees game and sat in right field with the bleacher creatures (and learned a bunch of F the Mets cheers, even tho the game was against the Mariners,) we had our first visit to central park (still so much to explore here,) went to the Met and won lottery tickets to Shakespeare in the Park. I signed up for a workshop in voice acting at a pro studio in the city, and Sam's show opens this week. Half way through my time at Stella, I cannot believe how fast it goes by @edinahelen

NYC update three:
Number of shows seen-4
Number of rats seen-1 (in times square after a show)
Classes are amazing, my classmates are incredible, the city is so alive, and crowded, and beautiful. by @edinahelen

Days 2 and 3 recap
NYC stats:
-number of wrong trains taken:1 (right train, wrong direction, ended up with a suprise pit stop in Time Square👍)
-Number of conversations in a foreign language overhead where I knew the language: 7
-Number of Convo snippets in a language I did NOT know: 5
Bonus: we accidentally stumbled across filming for Ghostbusters and watched them setting up the baracades 👻👻👻 by @edinahelen
