It’s all about the artists’ experiences. We’re excited to continue our Celebration of Creative Success in Scotland with Issue 2, bringing together 20 creatives and their distinct journeys, experiences and perspectives from across Scotland’s creative community.

Issue 2 moves across photography, illustration, gaming, poetry, metal, fashion, flowers, fantasy, folklore, skincare, fire performance, music, making, design, audiobooks and storytelling.

Creative success isn’t always a major milestone. Sometimes it is found in the work itself, the progress made, what has been learned, or simply continuing.

We are honoured to announce that @refashionedinburgh is now in association with @sustainablefashionweek_uk
Building creative connections is important for us and this connection in particular is very exciting.

Our event will remain independent but we will be part of a growing sustainable network , much much bigger than we would be able to reach alone. Its important to network and collaborate on sustainability issues and come together to create a real alternative to fast fashion.

Expect new and exciting things coming in 2027 as we create Edinburghs very own fashion hub, during sustainable fashion week, with so many interesting activities and events to attend.

Come along to ReFashion Edinburgh on 15th November and see the work of 10 incredibly talented designers, and the whole support team , come to life on the catwalk worn by our amazing models.

Edinburgh Creative Connection is more than a collection of individual initiatives. It is a connected physical-digital community built around interdisciplinary local engagement, participation and shared experience across South West Edinburgh, Edinburgh and Scotland.

• Free local creative hang-outs provide space to make art, meet people and spend time together in Southwest Edinburgh.

• ECC community group chat supports ongoing conversation, local connection, collective problem solving, celebration and peer support.

• Local information and opportunity sharing connects people with creative events, workshops, open calls, funding and collaborations.

• Celebration of Creative Success in Scotland (our flagship initiative) documents personal creative journeys, including process, progress, challenges, opportunities and lessons learned.
