THE NEXT EYF . We know loads of folks have been waiting for an update about the date for the next EYF, and we thank you all for your patience. . After much consideration, we have decided to take a much-needed break in 2020. This decision was not one taken lightly, or overnight - we considered it after EYF last year, but then decided to carry on and host 2019 before evaluating this again. . Running this incredible event and bringing thousands of dedicated yarn enthusiasts together every year is an honour and a fantastic experience, but it also demands an enormous amount of energy and commitment from us. EYF has grown from a small idea to a global destination event for the knitting and yarn industry and along the way has become more than a full-time job for us - it is an all-consuming lifestyle that affects not just us, but also our families and home-life. . Year on year, each EYF event has, so far, topped the previous one, with new and exciting features being added as well as a lot of effort put into improving the visitor experience. Expectations are extremely high for every event to be even better than the last and to keep on top of our game and to keep on offering one of the very best events around, we need to recharge our creative batteries and take some time out. . We want to thank all of you for your support and enthusiasm for what we have created and we are looking forward to staying connected with you via our newsletter and social media so you don’t miss any updates about EYF 2021, or any other things we might get up to in the meantime. . Please make yourself at home in our Ravelry / Facebook group and keep the chat going, we’ll be popping in frequently to join the conversation! Knit Now publishes fourteen issues per year, featuring patterns for all budgets and ability levels, from talented independent designers all over the world. This issue features a brand-new pattern from EYF tutor @julieknitsinparis along with many other names you'll recognise!
