Another @isaidwhatisaidpod Toronto show in the books, and what a time!☺️

Hosting this was an incredible experience. From the energy and the laughs, to getting to warm up a crowd that came ready to have the best time. This is definitely work I want to keep doing.

Heartfelt thank you to @take3.media and the whole team 👏🏾🙌🏾

And thank you @thefifographer 📸 for these gorgeous photos.

A year+ and many edits after 🥹 I’m finally ready to share this short documentary I created featuring one of the best to ever DJ and someone I deeply respect and admire @razaqeltoro 🙌🏾

This first screening is a private and intimate one in Toronto. The experience of watching it with you and talking not just about the film but about the subject it explores is one I’m really looking forward to.

I’m a big believer in the idea that we all carry stories within us and this short story with Razaq is one I’m happy to have captured. ♥️

Update❣️- Tickets are now available! Check the link in my bio

My short documentary, an EDIRIO @edirio.ch film, created as part of the @bbic_enac @cbcbeingblackincanada program, is premiering at the @torontoblackfilmfest on Friday, February 13, 2026 🥹

I’m deeply grateful to @thefifographer and @tifesoloye for graciously lending their stories to this film.

“Japa” a slang word with a straightforward meaning, but layered with complex emotions and lived realities.

This film explores the loneliness many Nigerian immigrants experience when they “japa” particularly to Toronto and ultimately calls for collective empathy and compassion.

Many thanks @fabiennecolasfoundation @fabienne_colas

Looking back on September, I think “hmm, surprisingly lovely.” Not sure what I expected but I quite enjoyed it. So many beautiful days, enough to not quite remember the other ones ☺️

“Life’s for the living, so live it, or you’re better off dead.” - A favourite line from Passenger’s song.

July was so activeee! I will never not express my gratitude.

1. Did my best to show up in two places on this day.

The Buzangus ♥️ So grateful I made it in time to capture this moment with you both.

What can I say? ☺️🤭

Waiting to do my mic check 🎤 - Hello? 1, 2, 1, 2… can you hear me?

The dress after (hosting) 👗

The dress before (wedding) 👗

It was a brown dress day…definitely a coincidence

Such a fun day playing games and eating yummy food 😋🤤

Shine shine baby ☺️

Gave myself one of my dream jobs of being a presenter 😌

Meet @ivano_stocco - wood work artist I had a lovely conversation with at the @torontooutdoorart . We spoke about how he stepped fully into being an artist. The full short conversation is linked in my bio.

Have an incredible week and if you do nothing else, I hope you trust yourself enough to bet on yourself.

Mic in hand and a smile on my face ☺️ Getting out and speaking to wonderful creatives fed me full! My favourite part besides getting to meet them and their work, are the stories they all shared. Excited to share more stories from creatives in the following weeks.

I’m up and about 🎤💃🏾. Happy Friday!!

We’re excited to welcome back our panel session host, @ediris_corner , for an evening centered around building the creative economy, meaningful conversations, and community connection ✨

Filmmaker, content creator, and on-screen talent, @ediris_corner is a Toronto-based Nigerian-Canadian storyteller and founder of EdiriO Creative House — a media production company focused on telling authentic, culturally relevant stories. Her recent documentary film JAPA premiered at the Toronto Black Film Festival and continues its run across Canadian Black film festivals in 2026.

Ediri will be guiding us through a powerful evening of networking, insights, and conversation with creatives at the @kwfamous Creative Café on July 17th. Looking forward to bringing together visionaries, storytellers, and culture shapers all in one room.

Meet Patricia Lima - inspired by pre-Columbian art and folk art. Her work instantly put a smile on my face and talking to her only amplified my joy!

Thank you @purple_paper_potter 💛 I loved speaking with you! I hope your work continues to spark joy.

Just like I did last year, I visited the @torontooutdoorart fair, soaked in the creative energy, and spoke with some wonderful artists. Rather than sound bites, this time I decided to allow the conversations live in their own web episodes.

Excitedly sharing ‘ART - Through My Eyes’ with Ediri, Episode 1 featuring Jade Usackas @colourworship

Thank you for taking the time to share your light @colourworship 🫶🏾💐
