I made the worst mistake.
I admit it.
I didn't want to play victim shits nd all...
Not because I stopped loving you...
but because I let my fears become louder than my trust.
The stories others told me... the "dots" I thought I was connecting...
they filled my mind with questions.
My heart never accepted them.
It kept telling me,
"She wouldn't do this."
But my mind...
it has always been different.
Ever since I was a child,
Ever since I left by parent,
Ever since grandpa died🫠
it has struggled to believe that someone could truly stay.
So whenever fear appears,
it starts searching for proof...
even when none exists.
I'm not saying what I did was right.
It wasn't.
And I'm not asking you to pretend it didn't hurt.
Because I know it did.
I know it kills but...
I only wish you knew...
that I wasn't choosing strangers over you.
I was fighting a mind
that even I don't know how to silence.
My heart never stopped choosing you.
It was my fears that kept speaking over it.
Now...
the loudest voice in my head
isn't those doubts anymore.
It's imagining
how much I must have hurt you.
That thought repeats
from morning until night.
Music doesn't quiet it.
Games don't distract it.
Even sleep refuses to come.
The only thing left...
is the hope that one day
you'll understand
what my heart was trying to say
while my mind was falling apart.

At 19th Jun evening...

At around seven,
a message arrived.

"She's gone."

The world didn't stop.

It simply stopped making sense.

The voices around him faded.
The colors disappeared.
Time kept moving...

but he didn't.

He wasn't crying.
He wasn't screaming.
He wasn't even breathing properly.

He was just...
standing there,
like a soul that had forgotten
how to live inside a body.

That night,
he picked up a knife.
Not because he wanted to feel pain—
but because he no longer felt anything at all.

The cold steel kissed his skin.

One cut.

Just enough to remind himself
he was still alive.

Then...
a thought crossed his mind.

The people who had filled her days
with fear,
stress,
and darkness...
were still walking this earth.

I can't leave yet.

For the first time that night,
he found a reason to keep breathing.

Not because life suddenly became beautiful...

but because his story
wasn't over...
not while the shadows that destroyed her still walk this earth.

The next evening...
they said,

She's alive.

I smiled.
Not because yesterday had become a lie...
but because she still had tomorrow.

For a moment,
I wondered...

Was it fate that stopped my hand last night?

Or...

was my heart refusing to leave
before hers did?

Last night,
I almost left this world.

Today,

to make sure
