Also playing two album release shows, first for one of the final @cruxorlandofl parties with our favorite ORLANDO FLORIDA GOTH SCENE (iykyk) and then bringing it back to the bush at @sleepwalk.nyc on May 1. Russ and I just did 5 (!) HAUNTED HOUSESSSSSSS at @fieldofhorrors and it was SPOOKTACULAR. Also very special for me to see the furnace and sign from Dr. Morbid’s, where I worked as a teenager in Lake George 🥲. taken in Field of Horrors by @edithpop

A classic Nantucket Birthday for me this year. Thanks for all of the kind words of love sent my way, it means so much to hear them. A lot of my dreams came true this year and I was really fortunate to marry my true love, get to make ALOT of art and theatre, put out a whole album with my best friend, explore a new field in a supportive environment and go back to school, keep exploring and indulging my curiousity for the world and just work with all sorts of talented, inspiring people. Goal for the next year to to find greater ways to express my gratitude, bigger stages for our artistic endeavors, and keep going deeper and deeper and deeper into the core of what it could all mean! taken in Nantucket, Massachusetts by @edithpop

Spent the wknd with some old friends as we celebrated the marriage of Laura Hajek, the youngest member of our art collective. @edithpop was 13 when I met her and I’ve felt like a big sister as I’ve watched her grow up.🥲 Here’s one of my favorite memories of Laura being interviewed by a puppet, when she ran for Miss New York 2O12🗽😯 This clever little video was created by the guys in @ravaconcollective and released as promo material while she was a contestant in the beauty pageant👑 Fun fact: Laura is from Glens Falls, NY where Basket Case was shot ;) taken in Glens Falls, New York by @edithpop

amazingly, MATTER AND DESIRE is about to turn 3 months old. thank you to everyone who has listened to the music and/or come out to a show and/or written to show support, personally and professionally this has been a....challenging, lol....year to release a new record and mount an entirely new live show around it, and these songs are still wild and raw to us and we're still navigating them, but it feels like we've gotten somewhere with blood and heart.

there's cool stuff to come as we piece it together. next is what will likely be our last show for this year, August 21 in Catskill NY at the absolutely stellar @theavalonlounge . the lineup is ASTOUNDING, a lot of deeply emotional, loud/soft/loud sounds, w @guhtsband @mamadoomband @fyoutammy and stellar live visuals by the absolute best @bamiam.

You can hear the record, pick up the record, and get tickets to the hudson valley NY show in our bio, or go to aplaceboth.com, which is cool too.

Thank you for everything. 🥀𓐘

Photos are @trampish @lauraholdenlolz @cruxorlandofl @jenacumbo and I think that’s it if we missed tagging you lmk taken in The Avalon Lounge by @edithpop
