✨ Editing services ✍🏽

It’s time for an update!

I now offer four editing services, so you can choose exactly what your manuscript needs:

📖 BETA READING
Big-picture reader feedback on characters, pacing, emotions, and overall impact, with honest reactions from a reader’s perspective.

📝 MANUSCRIPT CRITIQUE
In-depth, structured feedback on plot, character arcs, themes, and craft. Perfect if you’re ready to revise with intention 🌟

✨ LINE EDITING
Sentence-level edits to improve flow, clarity, voice, and style without changing your voice for a smooth, sharp, and immersive experience.

🔍 Proofreading
Final checks for spelling, grammar, punctuation, and consistency (the last step before querying or publishing).

All genres welcome 💖 by @editoremilieocean

☆ Editing Tips ☆

DELETE 👏🏽 IT 👏🏽

Yep, you read that right!

Let’s talk about “really” 😇

Deleting “really” from your manuscript will generally make your writing flow better.

What you should do then? Use a stronger word instead. Like “famished” instead of “really hungry” ✍🏽

Good luck 💖 by @editoremilieocean

☆ Newish Arrival ☆

And Cut by @vicwritesbooks 💖

5 paperbacks and 3 hardbacks are now a v a i l a b l e on our w e b s i t e 📚👀

Both covers are made by Victoria Liiv herself ( @vicdrawsart ), and the proofreading was done by yours truly ( @editoremilieocean) 😌
