Hey, some news: I'm officially joining @readmirabooks as Editor! I've had a couple of projects at HTP over the last year or so, and now I'm stepping away from Harlequin Intrigue to tackle this new challenge on a full time basis. Lots (and lots!) of stuff for me to learn still, but I'm really excited to figure it all out and get to work with new authors and new team members. I've enjoyed my time at Harlequin SO much more than I ever thought I would, and I'm so thrilled to continue working here on a different team. by @editrixemma

This box set is incredible. @criterioncollection has outdone themselves with The Complete Kubrick box set, collecting all thirteen of Kubrick's features plus three shorts, all remastered in 4k. Of course, the box itself is incredibly well designed, and the book is beautiful. Really looking forward to diving into this!

Wearing this dress made of scuba fabric today, because after work I'm going to see Whalefall at the @tadfilmfest! There are two books that sort of changed my trajectory in life recently (like in the last 5 years). One I've talked about before (Ghost Eaters) and the other is Whalefall by Daniel Kraus. I read it over the course of a day, it absolutely gripped me. And when I finished the book, I raved about it on Twitter because that's where I was talking about books. It sparked a conversation that's been going off and on since then about genre and publishing and opportunities. And it just got me to set my ambitions higher, to shoot for bigger things, take swings when I didn't really know what I was doing, and most importantky to be unapologetic about wanting to strive for those things. I don't think I'd be quite where I am in my career or as a writer without it. I am absolutely delighted to get the chance to watch the film adaptation today!

Back on my OOTD bullshit, because I can't post about book stuff all day every day (I started this IG account to make sure I'd have outfit inspo for days where I didn't know what to wear). I knit this sweater for the release of Breath of the Wild so it's been through some things, and using a single-ply yarn means it's a bit rough, but I love it. Worn with my knit Madrone Pants (pattern by @sewliberated) and the most ridiculous little rubber-duck-in-Halloween-costumes barrettes. by @editrixemma
