@sumnerbonneylakesd couldn't find enough state-endorsed teachers for every course they wanted to offer. So they built a new staffing model.

One teacher. Six periods. Hundreds of students supported through our EdOptions Academy platform, in the classroom or learning from home.

As Assistant Superintendent Kelly Denn puts it, the strength of the curriculum is what makes it work. Read her full take on rigor and seamless integration below.

Last year: a 94% pass rate for in-class students and 97% for ALE students.

Watch CEO Jamie Candee and Chief People and Culture Officer Chrishonda Smith share updates from their recent We Can Learn trips: Jamie at @lendahandbahamas, Chrishonda at Vickmens Montessori School in Ghana. Both initiatives were powered by Edmentors, Edmentum employees who volunteered their time and skills on the ground.

Since 2018, We Can Learn has been Edmentum's nonprofit effort to expand access to learning wherever it's needed, and this year that reach stretched from the Caribbean to West Africa.
