As hockey season gets underway the @njdevils have released their in-game intro for the 2026 season, featuring War by Illenium & Lø Spirit.

This isn’t the first time dubstep has been featured on the NHL level. Just last year the LA Kings featured Ray Volpe’s “Song Request” for in-game materials and the Colorado Avalanche have included a variety of EDM Elements in the Bass Capital.

How do you feel about EDM being adopted across pop culture? Would you rather gatekeep the scene, or do you like the incorporation across the real world?
