Dropped my kid off at the pool - no, no, not that... My son is somehow old enough to lifeguard at the village pool. Anyway, it was 37c today and I didnt fancy swimming in such a packed environment, so I used my time wisely and hit the Getränke Market and the thrift store.

I found these in a tray of rubbish, cheap sunglasses. Everything 3€. They are so cute and really well made, I wish my current glasses held up like this. They are embossed 'made in West Germany'.

Pliz excuse my sweaty face and fuzzy hair on the second slide. It was 37c and I'm middle-aged, goddammit. My son said they were "popular girl sunglasses" because apparently the popular girls at his school wear these big sunglasses 🤩

Bay 04 17 - some people call these hand grenades, I got a big green one somewhere.

I think this is an Inga glass vase, it's cool whatever it is. It's rare, ICBA, it's just fun. It has a shop sticker on it.

I haven't been to the Flea or the thrift for weeks because I've been so busy.

My next door neighbour is moving out of her Spanish style 70s split level. It has an underground swimming pool. She's selling it, if anyone is interested in a crazy 70s house and being my neighbour lol, let me know.

They had a fireplace that the chimney went up 2 stories, and on that chimney hung this 100 year old sycthe. It does not fit in their city penthouse and so they gifted it to me. Its going on the outside wall under the veranda.

This beetle is actually a bit evil because it parasitises its babies in beehives. But in this economy, who can blame them for trying their best for their kids 🤷🏼‍♀️ I love how hairy their legs are ❤️

🪳went to the Flea Market, got some cool things🪳

Tibetan Mahakala deity mask - the wrathful protector and remover of obstacles. Love this example, its really old too.

Mid-century metal and wood garderobe.

Mand Eurolux lamp produced during the 60s/70s in West Germany. The base is lacquered wood and the shade is opalglass.

Little Vienna vase, Scheurich West Germany, 1970s.

Then we bought some pommes from the food truck.

✨🔍Things I Did Buy At The Thrift On Friday🔎✨

A Barrie Cashmere cardigan in charcoal grey - made in 1980s Scotland for the luxury store Möller & Schaar in Frankfurt. I've never snatched something off a rack so hard. I've wanted one for ages and it was in my size and a good colour, blessed.

It's been carefully folded for some time and even a good steaming 💨💨 has done basically nothing. It's clean, so I'm just going to wear it til the creases drop. It looks like it's barely been worn so I'm not going to risk murdering it with washing or ironing.

Cute metal silhouette wooden plaque thing/ picture - probably made as a hobby piece in 1960s. I adore deer and forests.
