Ruby color. Raspberry and strawberry on the nose. Light mouth feel, light carb. Notes of cranberry, blackberry and raspberry mingle together through the opening before rose petals and cherry in the mid palate leading to a short, bitter finish. Quite dark for a rose, very juicy and fruit forward. Great for a late summer evening. by @edobei_wines

Rose gold color. Soft strawberry nose. Creamy carbonation, medium+ acidity. Balanced beautifully. Tart underripe strawberry up front with notes of green apple and a touch of vanilla and almond before a long, savory finish of butter, saline, and brioche. 🇫🇷 Valvignères - Ardèche

2018 - 12.75% Warm Vintage. Destemmed fruit, on the skins for eight days before pressing. Aged in old barriques for two and a half years. Cherry and raspberry nose. Light bodied. Notes of Black cherry, blackberry, light leather. Subtle tannins and soft acidity. Smooth and easy drinking.

2019 - 14.5% Warm, dry vintage. Destemmed fruit, on the skins for ten days before pressing. Aged in old barriques for four years. Strawberry nose. Medium bodied. Much more residual sugar, sweeter notes of strawberry hard candies, ripe strawberry, and cran-apple. Tannins are more present in this vintage.

2020 - 12.75% Destemmed fruit, on the skins for fourteen days before pressing. Aged in old barriques for three years. Cherry nose with a hint of acetone. Light body. Fruit forward and juicy with a higher acidity and a touch of brine. Notes of blackberry, black olive, and black cherry.

2023 - 14% Magnum. Cool vintage. Half destemmed fruit, half whole cluster, infused for three weeks. Aged in demi-muids for a year. Raspberry nose. Medium body. The balance is fantastic. Juicy upfront with a long, dry finish. Notes of raspberry, black olive, cherry tobacco. by @edobei_wines

Light gold. Pear, peach, and banana peel on the nose. Light mouth feel with light effervescence. Sweet and very fruit forward with notes of red apple, pineapple, honey and pear. The sweetness is balanced and not overly cloying. Crisp and juicy, this was perfect for cutting through the spice of southern Thai curry. taken in Jitlada Thai Restaurant by @edobei_wines

🍇 100% Pinot Gris
🇫🇷 Valvignères - Ardèche
Pinot Gris sourced from Famille Bannwarth in Alsace. Four years in barrels without topping up. The nose has the tell tale oxidized note of golden raisin, honey, and caramel. Incredibly light mouth feel which was a surprise. Soft and nimble with notes of Asian pear, grapefruit, tomato leaf, and pineapple. A good amount of acid and such a light body makes for an interesting oxidative wine. Super fun. by @edobei_wines

🍇 Chardonnay, Sauvignon Blanc, Carignan
🇫🇷 Ardèche - Valvignères
Grapes from Le Mazel. Direct pressed juice from Chardonnay and Sauvignon Blanc was infused with destemmed Carignan grapes for six weeks. After pressing, the wine spent three years in demi-muids. Deep ruby color. Strawberry / raspberry nose. Light mouth feel with subtle, fuzzy effervescence on the tongue. Medium acidity, lots of citrus. Notes of lime and tangerine upfront with blood orange and pomelo in the mid-body before a bloody iron and raspberry finish. As it opens up, the finish develops into raspberry jam. There's residual sugar that balances the acidity of the body that makes this a long, flavorful sip from front to back. by @edobei_wines

Le Mazel
🍾 Rosé 2024
🍇 40% Grenache, 40% Syrah, 20% Merlot
🇫🇷 Ardèche
Direct press grenache and syrah with a small addition of carbonically macerated merlot. Pale ruby color. Raspberry jam on the nose. It's slightly effervescence in the mouth feel, otherwise very light. There's a good amount of residual sugar giving this a big note of hard strawberry candies. A touch of yeast and acid brings this to a more balanced state after the first initial sip. A chillable, light red that leans sweeter. by @edobei_wines
