over the past few years, I've felt so much grief around the writing opportunities, relationships, and spaces I haven't been able to participate in because of the precautions I take to keep myself and my community safe from covid.

inspired by the covid conscious @leznightout has been hosting in queer spaces, I'm hosting a takeover of the craft talk Passwords: Mark Wunderlich on Mary Ruefle at poets house on thursday, 9/4 from 7-9 pm.

at the last reading I went to at poets house, a number of people (readers & audience members) were actually masked, and someone who was unmasked asked me why there were so many people wearing masks--by hosting this & future takeovers, I'm hoping to not only create community among covid conscious writers but also bring more awareness to the fact that we're still masking

covid conscious poetry craft talk takeover!
wear a mask, bring ur notebook, & hang out with other covid conscious writers :-)
