Through Education Plus Young Women’s Leadership Hub, in partnership with, The United Movement, we’re putting youth voices at the centre of conversations on digital safety, SRHR misinformation, and gender bias in education.

No young person should complete school only to find the next door closed.

This World Youth Skills Day, Education Plus is highlighting what must come next: relevant skills, further learning, decent work, entrepreneurship and the confidence to lead.

The video brings together evidence and the voices of young women across Africa to show what skills can make possible, not only in how young people earn, but in the choices they can make, the solutions they can create and the change they can lead.

For adolescent girls and young women, that pathway cannot be left to chance. Free secondary education matters. So do vocational and digital skills, mentorship and real opportunities to turn learning into livelihoods.
