ARTIST FOCUS 63: MGHZ

@meghbaral is an American-Indian DJ based in Budapest, channeling frequency into motion. The name is a play on her own, Megh, fused with megahertz - a nod to her fixation on waveforms, resonance, and the unseen pulse that moves a room.

Her sound lives between Techno, Trance, and Bounce. Sets unfold fluidly, shapeshifting through rhythm and texture, never settling into one genre for long.

Raised in India, now rooted in Budapest’s underground, mghz carries a cross-cultural current into the booth, weaving Indian influences into a language built on low end and momentum.

What drives her runs deeper than the mix. It’s community. A dancefloor that becomes a frequency of its own, and the people inside it moving as one signal.

Catch her this Friday for the closing of our club season opening! ☄️ by @edr_budapest
