Thanks @pubspotlight for introducing me to Messy Press books @messy_press ❤️

The Boring Drawing book is a new favorite in my office for kids who need a reset. They pick a page and draw what is suggested. Definitely would make a great car or airplane trip book.

The Pizza Shape Book is perfect to start a shape unit. After reading about how Mog and Morris identify the shapes around them, students can do the same in their classroom, school or even their homes.

The First Works of Shakespeare - a board book about Shakespeare’s plays? Yes! With short descriptions and labeled graphics, this is perfect for an introduction to Shakespeare for little learners through high school.

Where Do They Sleep will be in the permanent rotation of board books I read to our preschoolers at one of my client schools. Love the different words for sleeping little learners can be introduced to. taken in Winter Park, Florida by @edtechease

Braylen The Bear and Friends - Braylen Finds A Way

Braylen Bear has a problem. And so do his friend. They have a bully in their class. Braylen learns about the idea of stopping work in a strike to get someone to change their mind. He decides to get his other friends to strike during the recess baseball game and all walked away from the bully. He and his friends discover that sticking together and solving a problem together can work.

Sharing this with teachers to keep in mind when recess issues pop up. Will make a nice #literaturelasso to start a conversation about peaceful ways to solve a social issue. And I will also use when a young person is demonstrating bullying behaviors as a way to open the conversation.

Thanks Dr. Latonya M Peterson @drpretty10 for sharing this Braylen Bear story with me.

Anxious Amy - Calming the Worries Within

Thanks @deannabussadoribooks this is a valuable #literaturelasso for starting conversations with students about their anxiety. It is also a starter for talking to parents about how to support their child with anxiety.

Fluffy Happiness

Take a trip to the little Town with Sunny for the summer as she spends time with her grandmother and her friends from before she moved to the City. First she finds a cat on the train to Town and the adventure goes from there. A lovely story of a town joining together to save their green space with a push from Sunny.

Thanks to @iren_polishchuk_ for sharing this charming story with me!

A Christmas Keepsake

On a Christmas roll lately…but this is another book that you will want to get before the holiday so it can be enjoyed throughout the season. Start with 1 song or poem on December 1st then read another each day as a family then choose your favorites to read on Christmas Day. A lovely new December tradition.

Carrie The Tree Fairy - A Fall Fairy Tale

A delightful new book for Fall! Carrie is a little fairy who imagines that the leaves can be other colors. And with vivid illustrations we watch as Carrie adds vibrant golds, reds, and oranges to create fall leaves. While we know the science behind fall, a little magic as we watch the leaves turn is always fun to have. I hope this book will bring inspiration to my students as they do their fall leaves activities.

Thanks Meghan Oliver @meghanpoliver for sharing your recently published book and I look forward to more from @onewildproject!
