🥋 Long days. Hard rounds. Big wins. Even bigger reasons why we do this. ❤️‍🔥 Tournament days are exhausting, but there’s nothing quite like watching the people you love step onto the mats and leave it all out there. From the kids fighting their hearts out (and Presley bringing home her FIRST MEDAL 🥇❤️) to the adults making waves across our divisions, it’s incredible to look back and see just how far we’ve come. We’ve grown together, pushed each other, and celebrated every step of the journey. And I couldn’t be prouder of the team. Getting to share this journey with two of my best friends, @thorpalisha and @rebamaree , my amazing husband @joshua.walton.121 , and my incredible kids makes it all that much more special. These are the moments and memories that make every early morning, tough training session, and long tournament day worth it. And behind so many of these wins is the one and only @marco_almeida_professor . 🙏 We’re beyond grateful to learn, grow, and compete as part of the @bulls_bjj team. At the end of the day, it’s about so much more than medals. It’s about family, friendship, growth, and showing up for each other—on and off the mats. ❤️ Proud of how far we’ve come. 🙏 Grateful for another chapter of life! Life is not always easy. The journey is challenging, filled with obstacles, uncertainty, and sleepless nights when your mind never stops and your heart asks, “Will it work out? Am I on the right path?” But even through the difficult times, I keep moving forward with faith, courage, and the belief that every battle has something to teach me. Today, before celebrating any achievement, I want to thank God for His countless blessings and for guiding my steps, even when the road ahead seems uncertain. I am grateful for a family that loves me, a team that remains loyal, believes in me, and trusts my work, and for the friends, partners, and teammates who are part of this journey. No one builds anything great alone. Behind every achievement are people who believe in you, support you, lend you a hand, and stand beside you, even when the journey gets difficult. It’s not about having a life without struggles. It’s about having the faith to overcome every challenge without losing your character, your values, or your gratitude. Existem coisas na vida que não podem ser medidas em dinheiro, e a forma como você e sua família me receberam é uma delas. Sou profundamente grato por cada refeição, pela estadia, pela porta da sua casa que foi aberta para mim e, principalmente, pela confiança e pela oportunidade de ministrar aulas na sua academia. Para mim, isso tem um valor enorme e vai muito além do Jiu-Jitsu. Ter a oportunidade de compartilhar meu conhecimento, ensinar, aprender e viver esses dias dentro da Bulls Jiu-Jitsu foi algo extremamente valioso para mim. Cada treino, cada conversa, cada refeição e cada momento ficará guardado na minha memória. Minha gratidão se estende à sua família, aos seus alunos e a todos os colaboradores da Bulls Jiu-Jitsu. Todos me fizeram sentir acolhido, respeitado e parte daquela família. A vida realmente nos mostra que o Jiu-Jitsu não nos dá apenas parceiros de treino. Hoje eu vivo em uma busca diária por melhoria física e mental. Não sou mais o mesmo jovem de antes. Meu metabolismo mudou, minha força e minha explosão já não são as mesmas. O tempo passa e o corpo muda, e eu respeito esse processo. Mas existe algo que ficou mais forte: minha mentalidade. É ela que me leva todos os dias na direção de viver melhor, comer melhor, ser uma pessoa melhor e cultivar pensamentos melhores. Trabalhar ,Estudar, ler, treinar, lutar me exercitar e cuidar de mim fazem parte dessa construção. Não estou em busca da perfeição. Estou em busca do básico bem feito: uma vida mais saudável, com consciência e disciplina. É claro que vou comer o que eu quiser. Vou aproveitar, vou sair da rotina algumas vezes. Mas existe uma diferença: faço isso por escolha, não por falta de controle. Um doce pode fazer parte da minha vida, mas não pode controlar minha vida. Eu não preciso ser perfeito. Preciso apenas continuar evoluindo, todos os dias, reduzindo a distância entre quem eu fui e quem eu quero ser. by @eduardo_flores_bjj
