📚⚖️ Big couple of weeks, kicked off my 7th semester (my last full semester!) and wrapped up 2 residencies at @syracuselaw Come January, it's just 2 more residencies to go. Also grateful to Attorney @elabogadodetejas for the opportunity to complete my externship with his firm @fariastriallaw — learning so much along the way. Onward! 🎓 #SyracuseLaw #LawSchool #Externship #OnwardAndUpward by @eduardocap42

Summer 2026 grades are coming in. ⚖️📚

High Honors — Comparative Trial Advocacy
High Honors — International Tech Trade Law
A- — Labor and Employment Law
A- — Federal Income Tax

What makes these grades mean something: Comparative Trial Advocacy came after a full week residency in London. International Tech Trade Law came after a full week residency in Korea. All of this while carrying 5 classes simultaneously.

The classroom and the courtroom are starting to speak the same language.

2027 is close. ⚖️🙏🔥

Cowen’s Big Rig Boot Camp. San Antonio. Boeing Center. ⚖️🚛
Yesterday — meet and greet with attorneys from across the country.
Today — a full day learning from Michael Cowen and his team, some of the most knowledgeable trucking litigation attorneys in the country.
Also had the privilege of meeting Will Clark, who recently secured the highest personal injury verdict in Webb County history. That hit close to home.
This work matters beyond the courtroom. Every attorney in that room is part of creating a safer environment for all of us — by holding trucking companies accountable to the rules that protect lives.
Laredo — I’m bringing all of this back home. 2027. ⚖️🙏🔥

First time on a stage. First speech in front of a crowd. 🎤

Alexander delivered his first public presentation at the theater of a local middle school in Nuevo Laredo, trained by CEEO and Professor David Ojeda Posada, who prepared him to stand up and own the room.

Two minutes. Confident. Composed. My boy. ❤️

I watched this from London and couldn’t be more proud. He has no idea what he’s capable of yet.

Alexander, convencer no es vencer al otro, es ayudarle a ver lo que aún no había visto. Nunca olvides eso. 🙏🏻🎤⚖️

Law school classmates. London. Italian food. 🇬🇧🍝
Not a bad Tuesday. 🙏 #London #SyracuseLaw #InternationalTrialAdvocacy #LawSchool #LondonLife TheJourney by @eduardocap42

Today is Father’s Day and I am in London.

Part of the sacrifice of building something meaningful is that some days you’re not where you want to be. Today is one of those days.

But before I left, my boys reminded me exactly why I do this.

This past Friday and Saturday, while I was already on my way to London:

Friday: Alexander took 1st place, Eduardo 2nd at the Chess Blitz competition.

Saturday: Eduardo won all 5 games for 1st place in a rated tournament at @laredochessrock , with Alexander grabbing 3rd.

Two days. Two tournaments. Two first places.

I’m in London today chasing something I hope makes them proud one day. But the truth is, they already make me proud every single day.

Pasea 2026. Huntington Beach. @triallawyersuniversity 🌊⚖️
Last week I shared rooms with some of the greatest trial attorneys in the United States — Michael Cowen, Kurt Zaner, John Romano, Joe Fried, Taylor Ernst, and Dan Ambrose.
I wasn't there as a colleague yet. I was there as a student. Taking every note, asking every question, absorbing everything I could.
That's exactly where I needed to be.
From Wednesday to Saturday — four days that will not be forgotten.
Laredo — I'm bringing everything I learned back home. 2027 is close. ⚖️🙏🔥

“Eduardo, I look forward to watching you shine.”

I’ll let the work speak. 🙏🏻⚖️

Haven't had time to post. That's because life hasn't stopped for a month.
Alexander turned 9 🎂 Eduardo finished elementary school and gave a speech as VP of the National Honor Society. Both boys competed in chess tournaments. Eduardo flew to Washington D.C. for an Excellence Conference selected with his classmates — and he's there right now as I write this.
Meanwhile I wrapped a tech law residency in Korea with @syracuselaw , and today I'm on a plane to California for @triallawyersuniversity Pasea event.
Couldn't be more proud of my boys. Couldn't be more locked in on what I'm building.
Laredo, we don't stop. 🙏⚖️✈️

Closed out my 5th law school semester on Thursday at @syracuselaw, and Saturday came with even more wins.
Eduardo, and Alexander got out the 1st and 2nd place in their category, and the Chess Rock Elite squad basically cleaned house with the trophies.
Loving this wave.
