$It’s been 2 weeks and I still haven’t gathered my footing, Ma. At times I wonder if I ever will. It just doesn’t seem real that you’re no longer here, until something happens or I hear something that triggers me to remind me you’re gone. This void runs deep and I don’t know if the pain I feel will ever go away or even subside, but knowing you’re pain free & now watching over me helps to slow the tears. I made you a promise as you laid in that bed and honestly that’s the only thing that pushes me to even get out of bed most days. I watched you exude so much strength in your last days and if I can exemplify a fraction of that then I know I will be ok. I just need your help. I love you Ma and I promise Danielle and I will do our best to continue to make you proud. Happy Birthday Momma 🥀 🕊 by @edub_80sbaby$
