A huge thank you to our 2025 London Marathon runner 💛

John O’Brien took on last year’s marathon for Educare Fund and raised nearly £1,500 to support girls in education. From months of training to crossing that finish line — it’s an incredible achievement, and we’re so grateful for his dedication.

Runners like John make everything we do possible.

👏 Thank you, John.

1 week to go to the London Marathon 🏃‍♀️

After 380km of training since January, @vickygreen_xo is now on her final countdown — with just 2 runs to go, and yesterday’s 10km was her last double-digit run before race day.

In her words:
“I’m really excited for the big day, a little nervous but overall I can’t wait!!”

Vicky is running for Educare Fund and is currently just over 50% of her £2,000 target — every donation now will make a real difference.

Let’s help her head into race day feeling fully supported 💛

Thank you 💛

To everyone who donated during the Little by Little campaign — we are so grateful. Your support is already helping girls stay in school.

We’ll be honest — we didn’t reach as many people (or raise as much) as we hoped this time. But this is just the start, and we’re committed to growing our impact.
If you haven’t had a chance to get involved yet, there’s still time to make a difference — or simply share our page to help us reach someone who can.

A big welcome as well to all our new followers — thank you for being here and supporting Educare Fund.

Over the coming weeks, we’ll be sharing more about the girls you’re helping, the work happening in Lesotho, and introducing this year’s Marathon runner 🏃‍♂️

LittleByLittle ends at midnight tomorrow. The matching funds might be gone, but these smiles aren't! ✨

GlobalGiving’s matching pot has been reached, but our goal for these girls hasn’t. Watch as our students in Lesotho share a heartfelt message of gratitude and a promise to work hard.

Their education shouldn't depend on a matching fund—it depends on us. Can you help us cross the finish line? Every £1 helps keep a girl in school. 🎓💙

Welcome to Educare Fund 🌍
