POSTS STORIES REELS TAGGED

And with that, another unforgettable round of @dndinacastle comes to a close.

Together with my incredible group of returning players - Alicia, Deanie, Derek, Philippe, and Sophia - we spent four dramatic, action-packed, and emotional days delving once more into the gothic world of Mournveil. How thankful I am to each one of them, for the incredible stories they brought to our table.

To say nothing of the immense roster of Dungeon Masters. Seeing the joy, terror, and hilarity that @aliciamariebody, @bdavewalters, @geekypinup, @howtobeagreatgm, @mike_at_fix, and @thegmtim - along with One Shot DMs @burrowsjayden, @chrishatelygm and @l0wery95 - brought to their respective tables was nothing less than an inspiration, each and every day. What an absolute gift to have a front row seat to their storytelling prowess.

Tremendous thanks must also go to the D&D in a Castle team, particularly @jhopskies and @jimjams2710, as well as the Walworth staff for all their amazing work behind the scenes, organising miniatures, terrain, food, drink, and answering all manner of other strange and esoteric requests.

I will be returning to the castle in February. It already feels like far too long. by @edward_spence_

I'll have some exciting announcements about the weekend coming soon, but in the meantime, please do reach out! Whether you need a panellist, host, or you simply want to grab me for a game of Magic while I'm Stateside, drop me a message! It'd be lovely to catch you. by @edward_spence_

Happy Batman Day! 🦇

Anyone who knows me will already be aware of the deep, abiding love I hold for the Caped Crusader and the world of Gotham City. Few comic book characters have proved as adaptable and captured the imagination of so many, from rain-drenched noir, to Godfather-influenced crime epics, unabashed horror, and cosmic journeys across the multiverse.

Last year, I was privileged to delve into this world I love so much, in our seven-part charity livestream, Shadows of Gotham. Featuring an all-star cast, this series saw comics' most famous city used to explore municipal and police corruption, as our heroes were pitted against BIue Lives Matter for the fate of Gotham.

With art by @kodasea and overlays by @stellalunatv, Shadows of Gotham starred:

- @candacethemagnificent as Edie Kasumba
- @heycalamityyy as Lyla McCabe
- @justseum as Dove "Dodi" Dixie
- @thekappachris as Ben Aden Tora
- @valiantdorian as Randhir Villefort

With a truly incredible roster of guests:

- @chaoticdarby as Batgirl/Cassandra Cain
- @emmarie43 as Catwoman/Selina Kyle
- @howdylovedarlingm as Doodlebug/Daedalus Boch
- @justicevan as Nightwing/Dick Grayson
- @persephiroth as Zatanna
- @shellyvonmiller as Poison Ivy/Pamela Isley
- @stevesaylor as Mr Freeze/Victor Fries
- @superdillin as Harley Quinn

I am immensely proud of this show, and many have been asking whether there will be a second season. Well... watch this space. 🦇 by @edward_spence_

Hey. What if you were Invincible?

Anyone who knows me is aware of my abiding love of comic books. And few series pack as much of a bloody punch as @robkirkman, Cory Walker and @ryanottley's Invincible.

Now, thanks to the tremendous team over at @freeleaguepublishing, you can create your very own superhero to step into this universe, taking their place alongside legends such as Atom Eve, Battle Beast, Omni-Man, and more.

From choosing your powers, to forging your civilian identity, selecting your equipment, and more, the Invincible roleplaying game beautifully captures the character-driven drama and exceedingly brutal combat that defines the series, giving you everything you need to tell your own superhero stories, as you balance your day-to-day troubles with saving the world.

A huge thank you to Free League, as ever, for this heroic bundle of superpowered excellence.

So... who's ready to form a team? by @edward_spence_

Last week, I attended my very first @warhammerofficial tournament at the Warhammer World! What an event, as enjoyable for the games I played against such lovely opponents as it was for the amazing staff. I had a blast, and will definitely be back again.

While I have been a miniatures hobbyist for pretty much all of my life, the gaming side of the hobby is something I've always wanted to get into, but frequently felt intimidated by. A huge thanks must therefore go to both @eldarexarch and @milliepaints - the inspiring way with which they talk about the hobby whenever we've chatted is what gave me the strength to finally take the plunge. Two finer ambassadors for tabletop wargaming you will never find.

So... anyone wanna roll some dice? taken in Warhammer World by @edward_spence_

What do you do when you discover someone has a certain infamous hot sauce in their fridge?

As part of our Force of Extinction BackerKit campaign, @jw_cartwright and @edward_spence_ thought it would be a great idea to record their own version of Hot Ones, on the proviso that it was only to be released when we reached our goal.

Well, the goal has been reached, and as promised... This is that video... 👀🔥 by @edward_spence_
