// Premiere // "The secret we ultimately landed on struck (I think) the right balance of psychologically damning but really strange and funny in a way you can’t exactly put your finger on."

Writer/Director @edwardsethan21 describes finding the perfectly balanced dark secret for his power struggle short 'Goose' where a novelist immortalises an old friend's disclosed in confidence past for her own personal gain.

My first proper short is now available on YouTube through Omeleto

The most surprising thing to me about making films is not how much you learn about the process itself, but how much you end up learning about the outside world. For example, during pre-production of Joan, I learned that rubber bowling balls exist.

The universe continues to reveal itself in mysterious ways.

I could go on and on about this cast and crew, but I will just say they showed me a patience and grace that I’ll never forget.

Cast
Tess Goldwyn as Joan
Jacob Gutierrez as Nate
Joe Boccia Jr as BRENT

Crew
DP—Joshua Echevarria
AD—Zack Watson
Editor—Steve Boghossian
First AC—Swelee Joseph
Gaffer—Matt Iacono
Key Grip—Chris O’Keefe
Sound Mixer and Designer—Jack Straton
Color—Marika Litz
Clean plate and composition—Heizer Freytez

Also want to give @johnmichael_12 and @mebellam a big thanks for helping on set and @ohshhitsdj for his vehicular assistance. by @edwardsethan21

Hey everyone! A short-film I made premieres next Saturday October 7th at 3:00 PM as a part of Filmland: AR! The screening will be at the new Museum of Fine Arts in Little Rock.

It would mean a lot to me for people to come and see it and additionally stay and vote for the Audience Award, as the winner will receive a grant from Panavision. This would enable me to continue making projects like this!

You can buy tickets at the link in my bio! taken in Arkansas Museum of Fine Arts by @edwardsethan21
