Stay Strong! by @edwardsstrong

It’s Jan 11th, do you have a plan yet for 2023?

I cannot remember a single training day where I didn’t have a plan that went awesome or even minimally awesome.

Truly.

In order to succeed in meeting your goals you need an objective perspective to look at your weaknesses and make them strengths.

I know this because I have competed at the highest level and spent nearly ZERO time coaching myself.

It’s impossible to become the best version of you, physically or mentally, without feedback. Whether it’s from friends, family or a coach.

Anyone who says they look in the mirror and say, damn I did amazing today, everyday…is lying. You are your worst critic and it takes so much to overcome those voices in your head (again, speaking from a lot of experience here).

If you are struggling or just aimlessly moving through your training, shoot me a DM. Let’s chat about what you are ready for and if the way I approach coaching is a good fit for you.

My clients are already kicking this year off in high gear and I’m ready to add a couple more people to the team! LFG!! by @edwardsstrong

Yesterday was PR City all around on the Floor Press!

Being able to help clients/friends/family get Stronger is why I love this job so much.
Trainers count reps. A Coach can change lives!!!
As a coach, we should all strive to meet this goal.
So thankful for everyone that shows up and puts the work in every time that it is time to TRAIN!!!!

Happy Thanksgiving from our family to yours. 💚 by @edwardsstrong

This was my last Day Training DL before having the first of three kidney transplant. ⁣
⁣
Looking back I can’t believe I was that strong with being in stage 5 kidney failure for a year at the time. ⁣
⁣
I was a very angry human being. I still had a lot of hate in me. I remember thinking “I’m 28 years old, how and why is this happening to me”? I also thought God hated me and I was cursed. ⁣
⁣
Fast forward to now. My Thinking (perception) has completely changed.I now think this happened bc there are people in this world that can take more pain than others couldn’t handle ⁣
Also, I know God loves me as he does ALL. Something out puts us through difficult situations to test our Faith. For example, Jesus had 12 disciples and all of had extremely tortuous deaths. No matter what happens to me My 𝗙𝗔𝗜𝗧𝗛 will never ever change. My Faith now is stronger now than it’s ever been!!⁣
⁣
Anyways , getting kinda deep on a Tuesday😂😂. In this vid is 585 lbs plus a mini. Equal to a 800 lbs pull. One year stage five kidney failure. No dialysis. ⁣
I refused it and it pissed a lot of drs off. Still able to pull 𝟴𝟬𝟬 𝗹𝗯𝘀 a few weeks before surgery. ⁣
⁣
Also on video is ⁣
My very close Brother @ajrobertspower pulling huge weight after me 605 lbs plus minis This is a training vid leading up to AJ becoming the All Time World Record holder in 308 lbs class finishing with 815 lbs Dl. ⁣

Circa Max week for @gljackson88 . @searas_journey hopped in too also to test her current Circa Max .
⁣
Circa max consisted of a free Squat with Reverse micro mini. ⁣
When Gail and I started to work today, Gail’s best in this setup was a little high 185 lbs last March. Today Gail HIT 225 lbs for a Huge ten lbs PR. Gail is going to have an amazing meet!! Gail’s Squat and technique have come such a long way.
⁣
Then Seara hit a huge PR of 250 bar weight with same setup. Seara is holding off until April to compete again. Seara keeps getting stronger every workout. Seara’s technique has come a Long Way also.
⁣
To say I am Proud of this Team is a huge understatement. These girls put their heart into every workout. Our Team is building Champions. ⁣
Want to be a Champion? Then contact someone that has had success both in lifting and coaching.
What a Great Day💪💪💪💪⁣!!! Next week we will work up to planned openers. Then some rest and have one amazing Meet!!!

#throwback to 2013 after a DE Upper day. A Whole lot of Strong and Size on one photo.
Surprised we all fit. @josh_bigginsbrother1_conley around 350 lbs. @thesuperheavymethod @burleyhawk around 385/390. And me about 260 lbs.
We used to have some insane workouts 4xs a week. Every week for every month for every year for many Years.

A lot of great memories and a lot of fun . Training and talking shit have always been some of my favorite things to do.

This was the highest Squat I was ever able to squat in a meet in the 242 lbs weight class. ⁣I had hit 1100 in the gym, but wasn’t able to hit 1100 lbs in a meet.
At the time , this 1025 lbs squat was the 5th highest ever All Time in the 242 lbs weight class. Now a days I don’t know if it’s even top 20. ⁣
⁣
Thanks to World Record Holder @ajrobertspower for always having my back and being the best handler there is. ⁣Also for being a Great Training partner Over the years. AJ was always smart with his training. That is why he was always fresh and strong.
I on other hand tried to bury anyone And everyone I trained with. Especially when we had guest come in to train with us. Day after day year after year takes a huge toll on your body when you train that hard all the time.

When guest would visit, Louie always made everyone train. Lou didn’t want to just talk. He wanted everyone to put work in too.

The one thing that always got guest and training partners that just moved to Train @westsidebarbellofficial They find out quick how we weren’t just strong. We were in good shape and moved very quickly between sets.

Remember friends Train hard and Train smart. Also, no matter what. NEVER GIVE UP!!!!!!

@gljackson88 and Anne were killing it Yesterday. Both hitting PRS on pin 3 DL. It’s such an amazing feeling seeing your clients, friends, family show up everyday and give everything they have when training.

Anne hit a 10 lbs PR with more in the tank. Anne has come such a long way. To see her confidence and strength grow every workout is why I love this job so much.

I can’t say enough about Gail (video). We started working together almost a year ago. In that time her pin 3 DL has gone from 205 to 315. Then yesterday happened. First Gail hit 325 lbs for a 10 lbs pr!! We then went up to 365 lbs (shown). Amazing!! We shut down there after a 50 lbs PR. She had more in the tank. That’s the best way to end a Max Effort.

If you want to be a part of the Team (family) , feel free to message me today. We are building champions over here. Not all Coaches care this much. Not all have a passion for this. Nor do they care. Join a winning team today.
Everyone that has trained @edwardsstrong and competed has had a PR Total. You will see first hand how much love I have for this.

If you want to start PRing at the gym and in meets , or whatever your sport you may be in, Don’t wait. Spots are almost full for online and in Person.
No Matter what. Stay Strong on your Strength Journey!! by @edwardsstrong
