A much needed fireplace reset 🤎

I’m planning on spending the next 2 months resetting the house and tidying it up a bit in preparation for something super exciting! As a busy mum I’m fully aware that this probably won’t go to plan, wish me luck 😂🤍

Growing up my mum always had a stack of home magazines on the coffee table, it’s because of her and my Dad that I grew up in a beautiful home and have the love for interiors that I have today. I remember reading them in the morning during some of the hardest times in my life. Picturing myself in between the pages. A little snapshot of hope and the promise of a life that I could one day have if I was strong, if I carried on, if I overcame my health issues of which at times it has felt there were many. So here’s to 2 year old me, 10 year old me, 15 year old me, 21 year old me. I did it.

I didn’t intend on writing a motivational speech when I posted this but I think it’s important to note that better times are always coming. When you open up to the world the world opens up to you🤍 This means so so much to me.

My magazine feature didn’t get me thousands of followers overnight, but it did more! It taught me to start taking this seriously. It made me realise that I want my passion for interiors to be my all day, every day and not just something I squeeze into the cracks of everything else 🤎

A year of finally making that happen 🤎

A lovely Tuesday with all the ingredients of a cosy Sunday 🤎

P.S. guys this baking session definitely wasn’t as chilled as it looked. I’m lucky that any of the mixture actually made it into the oven with two kiddies that were determined to shove raw dough into their mouth 😭😂
