Nomad Jesus

A project focusing on churches around Nashville to document my complex relationship with religion as well as the beauty that these buildings or institutions hold. Churches represent an early source of comfort and a later internal conflict. Many photos showcase a different type of church, from Catholic churches to the Church of Christ, explaining how I grew up in so many different types of Christianity. This series of photos examines the beauty and power of the church while confronting the questions, doubts, and emotional weight they have instilled in me. A reflection of how something can be both sacred and unsettling. by @eeelacam
