I’m learning that building something meaningful requires more than vision, it requires courage. This is my first time hosting an event like this, and while it’s pushed me outside my comfort zone, it’s also reminded me why I started. This Kwanzaa + Culture event is about creating space, space for expression, for connection, for celebration. Everyone is welcome here. Every shape, every shade, every size, every story. Come exactly as you are. I won’t pretend this hasn’t felt vulnerable, but I will say this: I’m proud of myself for showing up fully. With intention. With heart.
