bio:
eel is a water spirit who personifies anixety that’s been living for an unknown amount of time (estimated 5,000 years) In the past, he was only a spiriutal being not posessing a real form, and spent centuries tormenting people at sea, haunting them and causing distress via hallucinations. However, he started to want more power only obtainable with a physical form. So, he started to wish and pray for a physical body. Eventually eel was given a chance in the human world and given a physical form. The only issue for him is that he doesnt look scary or threatening. At all. Instead of fearing him, humans find him cute, silly and slow. Instead of fighting it, eel is now curious about humans and their life and cultures, he spends time around them learning, due to the fact that he doesn’t scare anyone.

he spends most of his time reading books about our animals and plants, as well as our culture and how humans act. he is also capable of summoning spirits and helping humans talk to loved ones. because he’s from the spirit realm, he wears his inverted cross to repel other violent spirits or gods that may pose a threat to him.

some abilities hes capable of:
flight by hovering, mind reading (it isn’t instant, and requires intense focus), stretching of limbs, can change size (doesn’t like to do it because he’s afraid of large heights), can summon magic like fire, water and electricity from his hands and mouth, in his feral/monster form, he can inflict a very painful and nasty bite, summons apparitions to attack/ protect himself

Ik it’s early IM JUST RLY EXCITED.. first con of the year 🙏 I really hope everyone has an amazing time!

change happens from within, volunteer at cons, host panels, host meetups! A lot goes into running conventions. We complain about the ridiculous reg lines, but I think they really do try their best. The fandom is growing extremely fast. I saw a post a while ago with the same text and I always think abt it
