Somewhere in Baltimore. Found on Street View, painted by hand.

There’s something fascinating about ordinary American streets: the wires, porches, faded signs, uneven sidewalks. Small moments that almost look fictional when you isolate them.

This one started on Google Maps and ended as a painting.

A while back, I began working on an oil painting project capturing Baltimore's urban decay through art.

I primed a wood panel with gesso mixed with neon orange, aiming to ground the painting in that typical sunset magic.

Years ago, The Wire inspired me, leading to dozens of Street View screenshots of little corners, abandoned houses, improvised car washes and more. At the same time I discovered @maxseckel's incredible pieces that breathe life into New Orleans' urban landscapes. The orange traffic cone is a nod to @maxseckel by @eenhans

👨🏼‍🎨 Painting fast helps me basically not screw it up. Quite happy with the result I got from 2 hours of painting. Better than all the pieces I decide not to share that took waaaay longer 😂
A portrait in oil of the beautiful @lotuskrabbe.

Challenged myself to finish this one in 2 hours, based on an existing underpainting that was catching dust for a year or so. Photo reference of @nicole_zimmermann by @arisjsimmons #portrait #oilpainting #instaart #buschenvanderworp taken in Zwolle, Netherlands by @eenhans

After 18 months of not painting, just finished this one. Small canvas is not really my thing but it turned out okay. #portrait #oilpainting #figurativeart #art #painting #buschvanderworp by @eenhans
