[IOMOO] - context for what and why iomoo exists <3

2022 - at the time i had made some songs that i liked a lot, but didnt feel right on tapei (where i used to release this kind of music)

so because of how i felt about the sound and aestethics that came with the genre. for me, it was reason enough to create a different place for these songs.

2026 - it's been a year since i started making music labeled with the tag lofi/chillhop consciously and i dont think i can make it by myself anymore.

after that realization i also thought how outside i was from the actual community of producers and musicians.

so i started making songs with friends which has put me in the spot where i can create without the compromise to fit as much as at one point did.

excited to create more art for you 💖

[POEMAPOEMA] - this project is meant to be an output without much hesitation.

for context, at some point i dropped songs on my soundcloud that i never released officially on tapei (@tapeitapei), or songs i finished that didnt fit in the future of iomoo or tapei. i overthink a lot as u can see, too much to be honest, but i think this output is going to help my mind for the next years.

the tracks that are going to be released there are going to be with no intention of being nothing more than a thought.

with love, from the backyard of my computer.
