EFBAS presents... (24)

PROBLEM PATTERNS
"Problem Patterns balance fury with fun, politics with playfulness. There’s righteous anger here — about burnout, the music industry, sexism, capitalism — but it’s wrapped in humour, chaos, and an infectious sense of community." - Joyzine
https://problempatterns.bandcamp.com/album/boring-songs-for-boring-people

STUPID WORLD
"Fast melodic hardcore that gets it right in all the best ways, and doesn’t get caught up in all the slick “professional,” overproduction that so many modern punk bands pursue. Catchy and propulsive." - Dan Yemin (Paint It Black, Kid Dynamite, Lifetime, etc.)

EVERY FACE BECOMES A SKULL
We're playing this one too.

EFBAS presents...

April 11 2026

CHEERBLEEDERZ
A couple of years on from their EXTREMELY memorable double show, Cheerbleederz are coming back to JT Soar! And they're armed with a new EP:
"They’ve kept all the hallmarks of their sound — zippy hooks, sweet vocals, frenzied guitars — but there’s a confidence here. They’re willing to take risks, play with melody, lean into vulnerability, and just be themselves. It feels grown-up in a good way, without losing the messy, joyful charm" - Joyzine
https://cheerbleederz.bandcamp.com/album/prove-me-wrong

TINY STILLS
They have an album absolutely crammed full of brilliant, super-catchy rock songs. If you want to try one in particular, my current favourite is "Bury Me Under A Palm Tree".
"Anxious indie emo and your new best friends from Los Angeles, CA. Bubble grunge? Pop Punk? IDK we have bigger problems than that." - they themselves

JT Soar, Coffee Beat, Noisy Hearts and EFBAS Presents...

Fortitude Valley is the brainchild of Laura Kovic. Taking influence from the likes of The Beths, The Go-Go’s and Pavement, what results is a ludicrously addictive cocktail of heart-stopping indie-punk power-pop melody and a back catalogue of songs that’ll be living in your head, rent free, for evermore.

“Classic UK indie-pop blended with the sunshine smile of first album Weezer” - Steve Lamacq, BBC 6music

"Fortitude Valley’s supercharged punky pop brims with summery melodies, shiny vocals, and sparkly guitar lines straight out of the Josie and the Pussycats soundtrack..." Bandcamp - Cool Band Alert
