✨Short Notice Cancellations ✨Running a small business means I pour my heart, time and energy into every single appointment. A few weeks ago I had 4 short-notice cancellations, which had resulted in £120 lost income for that week alone.For a big business this might not seem much, but for a sole trader like me, that can mean: • Losing a chunk of my weekly income • Turning away clients who genuinely wanted those slots • Still having to cover business costs like products, rent & billsI completely understand that life happens – things come up unexpectedly, and sometimes cancellations can’t be avoided. However, when appointments are cancelled with less than 24–48 hours’ notice, it’s almost impossible to fill the space, and it has a real impact on my small business.⸻📋 Cancellation Policy ReminderTo protect my time and livelihood, my cancellation policy will now be fully enforced regardless of the reason: • Less than 48 hours’ notice – 50% fee • Less than 24 hours’ notice / No shows – 100% feeThese fees must be paid before a new appointment can be booked. By booking with me, you agree to these terms. Just a little reminder that I do not offer gift vouchers within my small business 🤎I know many salons and beauty businesses do, but after previously offering them I found they became quite difficult for me to manage properly as a small business owner.There have been several occasions where expired vouchers have been presented months after the expiry date, and while I completely understand life gets busy, expiry dates are there for a reason. ✨ Client Spotlight – Meg ✨Meg has been coming to me for years for her nails and toes, but more recently she’s added Korean Lash Lifts and Brow Wax & Tint appointments to the mix 🥰And honestly… this girl has the dream brows and lashes! 🤩 Her brows hold tint beautifully for weeks longer than I typically see, and when she comes back 7, 8 or even 9 weeks later for her next lash lift, she still has gorgeous lifted lashes left from her previous treatment! 🤯Appointments with Meg are always a good laugh.
