The final stage of the bike was a front rake.

I've got the Roam with crazy carrying capacity with my panniers, but there is something so simple about throwing something in front of you and going.

Other things I added were a stem bag, lock carrier, water bottle holder, everything to make this bike grab and go ready.

Yes, I know I took the picture of the bike from the wrong side.

This was the next phase, I dismantled one of my fat tire bikes so I could use it's mullet drive train for this build, trying to keep costs down, but that only semi worked as it required a new back wheel.

Converted the brakes for easier maintenance, I've had very little exposure to rim brakes, so keep it simple.

Second pic is a top down of the cockpit, I thought the bike might be a little long, given the comparison of its geometry to my other bikes, so going for the Klunkers was my first choice. Swept back and upright.

It was rideable, but not comfortable.

Over the winter I came across a Giant Iguana for sale on market place. It checked all the boxes to do a restomod.

I did a poor job of capturing the process but here are some of the first pictures I took, new rear wheel to fit the larger cassette, new Billy Bonkers tires, Taco pedals, and Klunker bars.

These were the first steps to dialing on this build, it's approaching its final stages, I'll post more.

It doesn't look or feel like spring, there is still snow on the ground but we are ready.

No studs. No problem.

Another quick one, smaller tires, no studs, way faster.

Hard going.

I've been trying to cycle more in the winter. My Moose with its studded tires crushed everything. Single track, wet snow, ice.

Now if only my lungs could keep up.

More then half way through November and the Revolt is still out.

Cut the lights, face yourself.

Every winter I end up semi hanging up the bikes. I still try and take advantage of good days, but that doesn't always line up with my schedule.

I bought a cheap fat bike last winter and got out a little bit but this year we step it up, new bike, studded tires and all conditions.

Been playing with some shots I've been taking on my colourful fall rides. How does one balance horizontal and vertical shots? Edits, that's how.
