As the school year comes to an end for the girls, Monica and I can't help feeling completely gratful to God for the opportunities given to our girls to learn, grow, mature and succeed at @trinityclassicalacademy

They have excelled in so many areas academically but this week they were recognized and celebrated for their creative attributes as well
as their athletic and leadership qualities.

Sophia was awarded the Scholar/Artist of the Year along with the Coach's Award in Volleyball.

Noa was awarded the Female Athlete of the Year (2nd time in 2 yrs) along with the Director's Award in Digital Media.

Thank you Lord for the gifts and purpose you have blessed the girls with and for the blessing they are to us.

Love you Sophie & Noa. We're so proud of you both.

I wanted to find the oldest pic I had of you and the girls... and this one was the winner.
@monica_pena4 you have been in the "MOM" game since 1996. You have poured into our girls every ounce of your being. You have helped mold and shape 4 incredible young ladies to above all love and honor the Lord, see and establish their self-worth in Him, put in the energy and effort to achieve their goals through education, and to love, respect and defend their "sissys."
Even til this day, you show up for your girls without question or hesitation to cheer them on, support them and fight for them. Como tu no hay nadie!
Love you babe.

Last night Sophia gave her Senior Thesis Oration. A year long project that consisted of a 30-40 page paper, a defense of her arguement on that paper and concluded with her 10 min oration.

Thesis Topic: "Misguided Missions? Should Christians Break Laws to Reach Uncintacted Tribes?"

As a parent, sitting there waiting for her turn...her moment (she was last)... it was nerve-racking to say the least. After 7 other amazing speakers...its was now Sophia's turn. And she did not disappoint.

She graced that stage with confidence, poise and humility. And shared her stance with conviction.

@penacolada34 mom & I are so proud of you. We witnessed first hand all of the hard work that you poured into this project. The long nights, hours upon hours of research and what felt like "endless" edits.
But you did it!!! And you did it so well.

Congratulations mammas.
Love you ❤️
