*Know your place in His Kingdom( Angels Vs. Humanity)*_

*Lessons from Hebrews Chapter 1* ✍️

Hebrews 1:5 AMPC
_[5] For to which of the angels did [God] ever say, You are My Son, today I have begotten You [established You in an official Sonship relation, with kingly dignity]? And again, I will be to Him a Father, and He will be to Me a Son? [II Sam. 7:14; Ps. 2:7.]_

‎God made His Son superior to Angels. Yet for our salvation, Hebrews 2:9 says He was made a "little lower than the angels" for a *short time* so He might taste death for everyone.
‎Through faith we are brought to sonship -"For through faith we are sons of God in Christ Jesus. Gal 3:26" That means we share in the same place as Jesus in God's kingdom as sons and daughters.

‎As powerful as Angels are, they were never given this privilege. They are not called “sons.” -
‎"*For to which of the angels did he ever say, You are my Son*; today I have become your Father, or again, I will be his Father, and he will be my Son?"
‎Heb.1.5.CSB
‎Instead, God made them to serve. “Are they not all ministering spirits sent out to serve those who will inherit salvation?” (Hebrews 1:14).
‎
‎Just like a maid/nanny or even a security personnel in a wealthy household tends to the master’s children, so angels are assigned to watch over those who belong to Christ.
‎
‎However we can only share in this blessing through salvation
‎16For his Spirit joins with our spirit to affirm that we are God’s children.
‎
‎Without salvation you do not have the seal of adoption which is the spirit of God. No testimony can be made of you that you are part of His family.
‎What makes one entitled to the inheritance of a Father is either by birth or adoption.
‎By birth, Jesus is the only begotten son John 3:6
‎By adoption, we become children of God and we are joint heirs with Christ. -
‎"To redeem them that were under the law, that we might receive the adoption of sons.6 And because ye are sons, God hath sent forth the Spirit of his *Son into your hearts, crying, Abba, Father.* 7 Wherefore thou art *no more a servant, but a son; and if a son, then an heir of God through Christ*...Gal 4: 5-7,"

📌 In your asking, seek to know Him more!!
Matthew 7:7 NIV  “Ask and it will be given to you; seek and you will find; knock and the door will be opened to you.

Oftentimes we focus on the first part which is "ask and it will be given to you"😉. What about the last two? Seeking Him and Knocking. Seeking God is desiring to pursue God. Wanting to have a deeper connection with God.
David says it better in Psalms 42:1 "As the deer pants for streams of water, so my soul pants for you, my God."

**He rewards us and our faith is strengthened.
Hebrews 11:6 NIV
And without faith it is impossible to please God, *because anyone who comes to him must believe that he exists and that _"he rewards those who earnestly seek him_".*
Imagine your posture or zeal with which you'd ask Him for something, knowing that He's called "Jehovah Jireh - The Lord my Provider".
**Knowing Him builds your confidence in Him.

Again He says "Knock and the door will be opened to you" in the last part...
Recall from the scriptures that He told us He stands at the door and *Knocks*, If anyone hears His voice and opens the door, He will come in and dine with the person, and they with Him. Rev. 3:20

I know there are two main reasons why someone will knock on another person's door. 🚪
1. For a request/ assistance
2. For fellowship/communion/conversation/establishing a relationship/building friendship

From the above scriptures, He knocks and also expects us to knock on his door as well 🤗. How lovely 😍, that the God of creation, in all His glory, would knock on my door 🤝🙇🏼‍♀️
**He wants us to have a relationship. He wants us to be intimate with Him.

Imagine you are my friend, and I keep asking you for things without checking up on you, expressing my love for you, and even thanking you for the things you do for me. 🙁I'm not sure you'd be willing to extend a helping hand anytime I come to you.
Let us "Sit with God" and He would do more than we ask of Him.
*Ask!! Yes, ask* 🙏🏽 but in your asking, seek to know Him as well. There's a need for intimacy in our walk with Christ. Build your relationship with Him ❤️🔥🤗Blessings!!! by @efua_simpson
