I created this painting to celebrate the Tomten, a small human in Scandinavian lore who brought care, comfort, and food treats to the animals at the farm. The card has quickly become a best seller, but I do have a few dozen left, which I will bring to the Guini Ridge Christmas market in Rockport on Saturday. I will also have it as a framed print along with many others. Come visit from 9 to 2. I’d love to see you. by @egan_art

Highly recommend the show at the Gallery at Monson entitled ‘Quarries: Muse and Material’, curated by Carl Little. It’s up until Nov. 2, and open every day. Monson is a sweet town and the attached gallery store is full of goodies, including some of my notecards. by @egan_art

On this, my fifth wilderness hike in the Wind River Mountains of Wyoming, I embraced gigantic boulders, laid on sweet smelling turf, and drew strength and expansiveness from the timeless entities we call mountains. I couldn’t have done it without patient partner and guide, Tim. by @egan_art
