🇬🇧: Following the General Assembly of the Geography Students Association and EGEA Bucharest, the Contact Persons for the 2026-2027 term were elected.

🫶 We are happy to announce the new EGEA Bucharest coordinators: Mihăescu Alexia and Stoica Daria Mălina!

👐 We wish them warm congratulations and much success in the upcoming term! We are confident that they will do a wonderful job!

🇬🇧: Throughout the 2025–2026 academic year, we travelled, created memories, but most importantly, we made friends for life.

🗺️ The places we travelled to took on a whole new meaning for us, different from the way we see them online. For a few days, these places became home to our laughter, our emotions, and all the moments we will cherish forever.

🫂 We would like to thank all the entities that made this year so memorable, and we hope that one day we will meet again to reminisce about these beautiful memories together.

🇷🇴: Pe parcursul anului universitar 2025–2026, ne-am plimbat, ne-am creat amintiri, dar, cel mai important, ne-am făcut prieteni pe viață.

🗺️ Locurile în care am călătorit au căpătat pentru noi o altă semnificație decât cea pe care o vedem pe internet. Pentru câteva zile, aceste locuri au găzduit râsetele noastre, emoțiile noastre și toate momentele pe care le vom păstra cu drag în suflet.

🫂 Mulțumim tuturor entităților care au făcut ca acest an să fie atât de memorabil și sperăm că ne vom revedea cândva pentru a depăna împreună aceste amintiri.

🇬🇧: 🏕️ From September 18th to 20th, we travelled far from home to Baru Mare for the 5th edition of GeoCamp!

🌟 We had an amazing TH and took part in activities that brought together the four participating entities: EGEA Bucharest, EGEA Cluj-Napoca, EGEA Iași, and EGEA Timișoara.

🫶🏻 A big thank you to @egeaclujnapoca for these beautiful moments spent with equally beautiful people. Hope to see you all again very soon, with the same amazing energy! 🧡🧡

🇷🇴: 🏕️ În weekendul 18–20 septembrie am plecat departe de casă, la Baru Mare, pentru cea de-a V-a ediție GeoCamp!

🌟 Am avut parte de un TH unic și de activități care au închegat foarte bine cele 4 entități prezente: EGEA București, EGEA Cluj-Napoca, EGEA Iași, EGEA Timișoara.

🍂 Autumn has arrived, and nature is starting to change. The leaves are turning colorful, the days are getting cooler, and the landscape is taking on warm and beautiful colors.

☀️ The autumn equinox is the moment when the Sun crosses the celestial equator, and the length of day becomes equal to that of night on almost the entire Earth.

🇬🇧: From May 22nd to 24th, we had the pleasure of taking part in the exchange organized by EGEA Timișoara.

🫂 It was a weekend full of unforgettable experiences, shared memories, and meaningful moments. We had the chance to create new friendships and connections, strengthen old ones, and enjoy every moment together.

🧡 Thank you, @egea.timisoara , for your warm hospitality and for making this exchange so special. We can't wait to see you again and create even more amazing memories together!

🇷🇴: În perioada 22–24 mai, am avut bucuria de a participa la exchange-ul organizat de EGEA Timișoara.

🫂 A fost un weekend plin de experiențe de neuitat, amintiri frumoase și momente petrecute împreună. Am avut ocazia să legăm prietenii și conexiuni noi, să le întărim pe cele vechi și să ne bucurăm de fiecare clipă.

🇬🇧: Between April 27th and May 1st, EGEA Bucharest had the pleasure of participating in EMRC 2026 – Periphery, hosted by EGEA Tartu and EGEA Vilnius in Gauja National Park, Latvia.

🗺️ Throughout the congress, our members took part in inspiring workshops and trainings, explored Latvia through unforgettable excursions, shared our culture during the Cultural Fair, and met people from all across the East & Mediterranean Region. Every activity reflected this year's theme reminding us that every place has a story worth discovering.

🤗 A huge thank you to the Organising Team for creating such a meaningful congress, filled with learning, new friendships and unforgettable memories!

🇷🇴: În perioada 27 aprilie – 1 mai, EGEA București a avut bucuria de a participa la EMRC 2026 – Periphery, organizat de EGEA Tartu și EGEA Vilnius, în Parcul Național Gauja, Letonia.

🗺️ Pe parcursul congresului, membrii noștri au participat la workshopuri și traininguri captivante, au descoperit Letonia prin excursii de neuitat, au împărtășit din cultura noastră în cadrul Cultural Fair și au cunoscut oameni din întreaga regiune East & Mediterranean. Fiecare activitate a reflectat tema din acest an amintindu-ne că fiecare loc are o poveste care merită descoperită.

🤗 Mulțumim echipei de organizare pentru un congres atât de bine pregătit, plin de experiențe, prietenii noi și amintiri de neuitat!

🔆 June 21 marks the Summer Solstice, the longest day and shortest night of the year, as well as the official beginning of astronomical summer in the Northern Hemisphere.

🌄 On this day, the Earth's Northern Hemisphere is tilted most directly toward the Sun, allowing it to reach its highest point in the sky at noon. As a result, we experience the greatest number of daylight hours of the entire year.

🇬🇧: Between April 16–19, we had the wonderful opportunity to meet up with our friends from @egea_krakow

🏛️ We explored the city and visited some of the most important museums, enjoying the atmosphere and history of the place, but also discovering the charm of Krakow's neighborhoods.

🥾 Also, on Saturday we went on an easy hike in the Tatra National Park, near Zakopane.

🧡 Thank you @egea_krakow for everything you organized for us and we can't wait to meet you again soon!

🇷🇴: În perioada 16–19 aprilie am avut minunata ocazie de a ne revedea cu prietenii noștri de la @egea_krakow

🏛️ Am explorat orașul și am vizitat câteva dintre cele mai importante muzee, bucurându-ne de atmosfera și istoria locului, dar descoperind și farmecul cartierelor din Cracovia.

🥾 De asemenea, sâmbătă am făcut o drumeție ușoară în Parcul Național Tatra, în apropiere de Zakopane.

🇬🇧: Between 20–22 March, we participated in a wonderful exchange with EGEA Cluj-Napoca, where we created new connections, strengthened old friendships, and enjoyed every moment together.

☀️ We had a full program of activities, including a guided city tour, a treasure hunt, and many opportunities to socialize. The evenings were just as special, spent with karaoke, and we wrapped up the exchange with a picnic, where we enjoyed great food and each other’s company.

🧡 Thank you for this experience, @egeaclujnapoca and we hope to see you again soon. Until then, don’t forget: we will always be close to you!

🇷🇴: În perioada 20–22 martie, am participat la un exchange minunat alături de EGEA Cluj-Napoca, unde am creat conexiuni noi, am consolidat prietenii vechi și ne-am bucurat împreună de fiecare moment.

☀️ Am avut un program plin de activități, precum un tur ghidat al orașului, un treasure hunt și multe ocazii de socializare. Serile au fost la fel de speciale, petrecute cu karaoke, iar mai apoi am încheiat exchange-ul cu un picnic, unde ne-am bucurat de mâncare și de compania unii altora.

🇷🇴 Ziua Pământului, celebrată pe 22 aprilie, este un moment dedicat conștientizării importanței protejării mediului și menținerii echilibrului natural al planetei.

🌍 Această zi ne amintește că resursele Pământului sunt limitate și că fiecare acțiune, oricât de mică, poate avea un impact asupra mediului în care trăim.

🌱 Este, totodată, un apel la responsabilitate și implicare, încurajându-ne să adoptăm obiceiuri mai sustenabile pentru a proteja planeta pentru generațiile viitoare.

🇬🇧 Earth Day, celebrated on April 22, is a moment dedicated to raising awareness about the importance of protecting the environment and maintaining the planet’s natural balance.

🌍 This day reminds us that Earth’s resources are limited and that every action, no matter how small, can have an impact on the environment we live in.

🌱 It is also a call to responsibility and involvement, encouraging us to adopt more sustainable habits in order to protect the planet for future generations.
