Landing back after an incredible residency in Cornwall with @stivesfilm & @erehwon_film getting hands on with learning about alternative and ecologically sustainable #photochemistry for home developing #8mm & #16mm #film
Met a great cohort of other artists, thinkers, tinkerers and film nerds.
Excited to see where this path leads. Huge thanks to Jo and James… I left feeling so inspired.

More process documentation. Snaps taken along the old straight tracks… Took my Bolex 16mm camera on a pilgrimage to Kintyre…

Finding plant pigments in my own back yard.
Part of a self directed study exercise for the Photography, Ecology and Ethics study program with @sustainabledarkroom

This journey is opening up the way I’ve been thinking about colour, light, control, containment, power and place. What is a more sustainable way forward when it comes to image making both in terms of chemistry and the ethical considerations inherent in the notion of ‘taking’ an image. Lots more thinking to do and some image making too… So many doors flung open at once!

Behold The Ark::
Adventures in Argyll; #Tighnabruaich and #Kintyre with @studiodonshades @ellie_rose_3 & @__reyday___ working on our film that speaks to Climate Grief, the Loss of our traditional connections with the Earth and the songs that we need to steer us back towards a healthier balance.

Blessed by epic Scottish equinox light, an early feeling of Spring and all the energy that flows from this most potent time of year.
