Just trying to stay sane, thrive where possible, and build gorgeous humans. 😂🤍

These are few of my little “odd” things have helped us find our groove as a family. It’s definitely got easier as the kids have got older (not easy, just easier!).

Every family does things differently, and honestly, we’re all just doing our best.

I just think it always important to come back to this point 👆🏻and I like to slow myself down ans remind myself of this fact.

2.5 years… and it’s finally time for this gal to push and go for it 🤍

I’ve worked since I was 19. From salons, to beauty counters, freelancing, training in luxury retail, working in the NHS supporting families, and then eventually finding myself in the local authority, project managing infant feeding projects in the community.

And honestly… I’ve learnt SO much along the way.

But, that little voice in my head has been getting louder over the last year.

The one telling me to jump.
To trust myself.
To create something of my own.
To do something really bloody special for mothers and families.

And I’m ready to listen.

I’m done with the red tape.
I’m done with meetings about meetings. 😂
I’m done sitting in a dull office wishing I could just do the thing.

I’m at a point in my life where I feel like I can give my all to my own ideas, my own projects and this little vision that’s been sitting in my heart for a while now.

It’s scary. It’s exciting. It’s a little bit mad.

But mostly… it just feels RIGHT.

So, here we go. 🥹🤍

I’m going to need you lot, though. So please… keep cheering this gal on, thank you for being here ✨ by @eggbyelle

After 2.5 incredible years with the Infant Feeding Team, it’s time for me to say goodbye to the public sector 💛

I know so many of the families I’ve connected with and supported have found me over here too, so I wanted to take a moment to say how truly grateful I am for every person I’ve met, every conversation, laugh, challenge and shared experience along the way.

Supporting you, championing you, listening to you, and changing and adapting services alongside you, all the amazing business owners, we really did it together! It’s been a full on, emotional and amazing ride, let me tell you! 💛

It’s been so much more than a job, it’s been a privilege to be part of making Halton a more breastfeeding friendly place to live, work and visit. 🫶🏼

So bloody proud of us babe!

Thank you for being part of it. 💛

Beyond the breathing techniques and birth plans… these are the conversations that matter. 🤍

Recently, I’ve had the privilege of doing quite a few birth refresh sessions and these are honestly some of my favourite conversations to share with you.

Because preparing for your second birth can feel completely different.

Life is fuller. You’ve got your first baby to care for, work, appointments, family life… and suddenly the weeks are flying by.

There’s often less time to pause and ask:

What do I actually want this birth to feel like?

What have I learned from my first experience?

What do I want to do differently this time?

How can I prepare my body, mind and birth team?

How can we stack the odds in favour of the birth I’m hoping for?

A refresh session gives you the space to come back to all of that.

To revisit the knowledge you already have, re-educate yourself where you need to, talk through your hopes and concerns, and really zone in on the birth you’re preparing for.

And I especially love these sessions with partners, too.

Because birth preparation isn’t just about the person giving birth. It’s about making sure your partner understands your wishes, knows how to support you and feels confident stepping into that role.

Sometimes you don’t need to start again.

You just need the space to pause, reconnect, remember what you know and prepare with intention. ✨

Literally goosebumps sharing this story. Please give this mama’s story some love 🤍

Four and a half years ago, this mum’s first birth was premature, long and traumatic. It ended in forceps, her biggest fear and her baby spent 8 nights in neonatal care. She carried so much fear from that experience that it took four years before she felt ready to try again.

This time, she booked an elective C-section because it felt like the safest way to have some control, while secretly hoping for a healing vaginal birth.

She prepared with my planned C-section antenatal course, building knowledge, calm and confidence along the way.

Then her baby had other plans. He arrived early, before her scheduled section.

She laboured calmly at home before making her way into triage, where caregivers supported her every step of the way, helping her feel safe, capable and in control.

Just 23 minutes later, she birthed her baby naturally, without intervention. ✨

The healing continued afterwards, too. With the right postnatal support, she and her family were able to recover together. And after struggling to breastfeed her first son, she went on to successfully breastfeed this time, with support every step of the way.

This is why preparation, education and the right people beside you matter so much.

A first birth doesn’t have to be the only story. With the right support, a second birth can rewrite it and help heal a part of you that you weren’t sure could ever be healed.

If a previous birth left you carrying fear, you are not alone. It doesn’t have to be the end of your story.

Sending you so much love mama ✨

We just need good girlfriends, am I right? ✨

I was chatting to some of my favourite girls recently and it hit me… we’re all juggling and balancing SO much.

Motherhood. Work. Relationships. Dreams. Who we used to be. Who we’re becoming. And everything in between.

And maybe we’re not supposed to have it all figured out.

Maybe it’s completely normal to have different chapters. Different versions of ourselves. To want different things at different times. Our needs, wants and dreams can change and that doesn’t mean we’ve lost ourselves. Maybe it means we’re growing.

I’m currently in one of those scary but exciting chapters. I’ve made the leap, and honestly, I thank my lucky stars that I have some beautiful women in my life to lean on.

To embrace all the messy, brilliant bits of life together.

Because sometimes you don’t need the answers.

You just need your girls. 🤍

Who else feels me?

As a mother of two who has worked across the NHS and public health for the past 6 years, I know first hand that birth education isn’t about planning the perfect birth, it’s about making sure you feel prepared for every type of birth.

A birth education course won’t promise you the “perfect” birth, although sometimes that may be the outcome.

What it can give you is something far more valuable: knowledge, confidence and the tools to make informed decisions.

With maternity care changing and the NHS under pressure, knowing how to navigate your options, ask the right questions and advocate for yourself matters.

You deserve to go into birth feeling prepared, not because you can control every outcome, but because you understand your choices and know how to navigate what comes your way.

This course is here to hold you, guide you and support you through one of the most transformative chapters of your life.

Invest wisely. Invest in your birth education. 🤍

✨ If you’re pregnant, ask yourself: How am I going to prepare for and navigate my birth?

I quit my job - Part 2. ✨

Three weeks since I handed in my notice… and I’m not going to lie, my brain is feeling a little frazzled. 😂

These little clips probably sum me up perfectly right now, just a mum trying to keep all the plates spinning while pushing herself to build something new.

I was away for two of those weeks, so coming back into the office this week and seeing everyone has felt… weird.

Exciting. Emotional. A little bit terrifying.

Because this time, I’m not leaving for another salaried role.

I’m leaving to work for myself.

And suddenly, it all feels very real.

I had a branding meeting this week and got to see some of the ideas I’ve had floating around in my head actually come to life.

And honestly?

I’m BUZZING.

But also slightly freaking out. 😂

Because I have SO much to do.

There’s everything I need to finish in the role I’m leaving… and then everything I’m building for the role I’m creating.

And I really wish I was the kind of person who could just say:

“Thanks for the opportunity, bye huns!” 👋🏼

But I’m not.

I care too much.

So there are handovers, presentations, loose ends to tie up and things I’ve created in my public health role that I desperately want to see continue after I’ve gone.

Which means I’m currently living in this very strange little in between.

One foot in the career I’ve spent years building.

One foot in the thing I’m brave enough to finally build for myself.

And honestly?

I don’t really know how I’m feeling yet.

Excited. Nervous. Proud. Overwhelmed.
Probably all of the above.

But I do know one thing…

It’s happening.

The next chapter is officially being built.

And I’m taking you with me. 🫶🏼

Tell me… has anyone else ever been in that weird space between “I’m leaving” and “what the hell am I doing?!” 😂 by @eggbyelle

8 years married today. 🤍

And it got me thinking…

We spend months (sometimes YEARS) researching our weddings.

The dress. Hair. Makeup. Venue. Food. Flowers. Photographer. Music. Even the napkin folds.

We plan. We prepare. We invest.

But when it comes to birth, one of the biggest days of our lives, how much do we actually prepare?

Do we know our options?
Our rights?
What might help us feel safe, calm and supported?
Have we prepared for the experience, not just the outcome?

Because birth isn’t something you can completely plan.

But being informed absolutely is.

And just like your wedding, it’s not about making everything perfect. It’s about investing in something that matters.

Your birth.
Your postpartum.
You. 🤍

So, pregnant mama…I want you to put some energy into preparing for YOU.

✨ Know your options
✨ Understand your choices
✨ Feel confident and informed
✨ Prepare for one of the most powerful experiences of your life

That’s exactly why I created the EGG Birth Course.

Because your baby deserves to be prepared for…

but so do you babe. 🤍
