For families in the middle of childhood cancer treatment, the holidays can easily get lost between hospital stays and time away from home.

This year, we’re introducing Holiday Hugs from Little P. Working with Primary Children’s Hospital, we’ll match you with a child or family in treatment so you can help make their season feel special, for parents and siblings too.

Sign-ups are open now, and donors will be matched the week of November 6.

I thought leaving your second child at college might be a little easier because you’ve been through it before and you know what to expect. Nope. I was wrong. ❤️
I left a huge piece of my heart at University of Arizona today. Saying goodbye to JJ and watching her begin this exciting new chapter is both incredibly hard and incredibly exciting.
I’m going to miss her more than I can put into words, but I couldn’t be more excited for her future and all the amazing things that are ahead. I can’t wait to watch the life she creates for herself.

An exciting weekend. Winters dance for both JJ and Bennett. Bennett’s date had a cheer comp. and couldn’t make pictures. But I still got one later in the night. Then a special baptism for Bennett, surrounded by his closest friends. Somehow they still showed up at 8am to witness this moment after Winters. Friendship like this is such a gift. by @eggfam5

One of my favorite things about Christmas is receiving everyone’s cards. I’ve never missed sending one….until this year. We opted for sunshine and family time in Costa Rica instead.

With heavy hearts, we said goodbye to our Ralphie today. We adopted him 7½ years ago, and we’re so grateful for every moment he was part of our family. He loved our family unconditionally and always wanted to protect us. In his younger years, he loved being around kids, chased every ball in sight, and brought us more joy than we ever imagined. We’ll carry you in our hearts forever, Ralphie. You are already so deeply missed. by @eggfam5
