Good morning. This is a little difficult to announce, but after enough deliberation and delay, I realize I must!

I have a $16,623.30 past-due tuition balance at Columbia, and because of it I cannot register for the fall. For me, as an international student, this puts my ability to remain in the United States and continue my studies at serious risk.

After months of appeals, scholarship searches, and trying to resolve this without asking publicly for help, I am now raising $15,000 through GoFundMe. My deadline is September 15.
I have spent the past three years building a life here: studying, making work, teaching, organizing exhibitions, and finding people I now consider family. I am trying very hard not to have that end here.

If you can contribute, thank you. If you cannot, please share this post or send it to someone who might be able to help.
I would also be extremely grateful for any private sponsorship, scholarship, grant, or educational funding leads.

I just want the chance to stay and finish my degree.
