⚠️ Attention, Parents of Toddlers! ⚠️
Two weeks before Halloween, I decided to show Zeus a beautifully decorated house. I didn’t notice how realistic the monsters were — moving heads, creepy sounds, special effects — everything adults love… but it hits a little child’s nervous system like a storm.

We’d been preparing Zeus for two weeks, explaining that it’s just a holiday, just decorations, and that if he growls at them — they’ll get scared. For two weeks, he bravely growled at every monster.
But this particular house became his fear trigger. One that I accidentally opened for him… as a mom.

Today he was scared. But he also got lots of candy, smiles, and warm memories. Still, we’ll be explaining for a while that it was all pretend — just dolls, not real.
Protect your little ones. Never scare them on purpose.

За две недели до Хэллоуина я решила показать Зевсу красиво украшенный дом. Я не заметила, насколько реалистичны монстры — двигают головами, издают звуки, спецэффекты — всё, что нравится взрослым… но для ребёнка это удар по нервной системе.

Мы готовили Зевса две недели, объясняя, что это просто праздник, просто декорации, и что если он будет на них рычать — они испугаются. Две недели он смело рычал на всех монстров.
Но именно этот дом стал его триггером страха. Тем, который открыла ему я… мама.

Сегодня ему было страшно. Но он получил много конфет, улыбок и приятных эмоций. И всё же нам ещё долго придётся объяснять, что это было понарошку — просто куклы.
