POSTS STORIES REELS

Can I say something about Instagram and Reels?

Everyone talks about fake accounts. Of course there are fake accounts. Plenty of them. But before becoming disappointed, maybe ask yourself one very simple question: What are you actually looking for here?

A little conversation? Flirting? Entertainment? Friendship? A date? Your future husband or wife? Something serious? Or are you simply bored tonight and enjoying talking to another human being somewhere in the world?

Because Reels is social media. It is a place to socialize, laugh, flirt a little, show your personality, be curious and sometimes become a social butterfly. It was never a marriage contract. 😉

And yes, people sometimes exaggerate. They hide. They create a version of themselves. Haven’t human beings always done that? Sometimes it reminds me of being in high school — somebody writes a love letter or a poem and is terrified of being exposed. There is still a person somewhere behind it.

I used to look at certain people online and think, “Oh goodness, why are you trying so hard to look younger or sexier?” But perhaps I was being too judgmental. If someone is enjoying life, expressing themselves and hurting nobody, why should I care? Young or old, everybody still wants to feel alive, interesting, attractive and seen.

And sometimes even a person you barely know can make you smile on a night when you really needed to smile. That moment can be real even when you don’t know the entire story behind the screen.

Just know what you want. If you truly want a partner, a marriage and a life together, eventually it has to leave the screen and enter the real world. Meet people. Go to events. Build a life in your own environment. Verify who someone is.

But until then? Enjoy the conversation. Enjoy the laughter. Enjoy being yourself. There is something wonderful inside every woman and every man that deserves to come out once in a while.

Not every interaction has to become your future to have been worth something. Sometimes making you smile was enough. ❤️ by @eglutelecraw

One bored evening I pressed play on Tokyo Swindlers… and somehow ended up completely seduced. Dark, intelligent, dangerous, impeccably stylish — the tension, the intrigue, the men, the atmosphere. I never expected a crime series to feel this intoxicating, or to lift my mood quite like this. by @eglutelecraw

Today I went out looking for inspiration.

I thought I would find it in a store or in a book.

Instead, I found it in an elderly woman crossing the street.

I stopped my car to let her cross. She smiled and thanked me.

It was a small moment, but it reminded me of something important.

No matter what life brings—stress, disappointment, or uncertainty—I don’t want to become cynical.

I want to keep noticing people.
I want to keep believing in kindness.
And I want to keep trusting that after every storm, the sun returns. by @eglutelecraw

Some nights aren’t meant for sleeping. They’re meant for listening to the thoughts that refuse to be quiet. by @eglutelecraw

Some stories don’t need words. They just need a moment. by @eglutelecraw
