One of our vets who’s been building teams for years just dropped the one tip every first year recruiter needs to hear.

Forget cold DMing. Forget relying on a VA system. Your most valuable resource is the people you’ve already hired.

Think about it. An athlete has teammates just like him. A student has classmates. Anyone in their 20s has a friend group and an inner circle. One good hire isn’t just one hire, it’s a door into 5 to 10 more potential reps.

Build real relationships with the guys already on your team and you get access to their whole network. That’s how you stop recruiting one at a time and start recruiting in waves.

Simple, but most guys overlook it. đŸ”„ by @egpc_d2d

THIS IS A MASTERCLASS

Noah walked up to his first decision maker of the day and closed the deal without a single hiccup. If you’re trying to get better on the doors, save this one.

He starts by giving the door plenty of space, no crowding, no pressure. Casual “howdy,” introduces himself, then builds instant rapport by mentioning he’s already working with the neighbors and naming off the exact bugs they’ve been dealing with. That’s not small talk, that’s digging for pain points before the door even opens all the way.

He gives a real reason for stopping by, a last minute reschedule and frames the visit as a chance to bundle him in with the neighbors for a better deal. He gets the name, shakes his hand and keeps asking questions to confirm the pain points instead of assuming them.

Before pricing ever comes up, he sets the tone with “I’ll throw you a bone,” so the discount feels personal, not automatic. He explains the price, drops in the neighbor discount and backs it all with a warranty, removing any risk from saying yes.

Then he assumes the sale. Not “do you want this,” but “do you want inside or just outside.” He follows it with a direct, no pressure check, “is this something you’d pull the trigger on.”

When the wife objection comes up, he doesn’t push back. He creates space for John to go talk to her while he does a full assessment of the property, finds even more problems to solve and comes back with an even better deal to “help out a local guy.” That’s not just a discount, that’s a reason to say yes right now.

He gets the okay and closes it out clean.

That’s how it’s done. Study this one. đŸ”„ by @egpc_d2d

Dragonfly Lighting is officially LIVE!

This has been a long time coming.

Mitch and I have talked for years about finding the right business to complement pest control—and this is it. We met Colin, and the rest is history. Bbq chicken.

Permanent lighting is different than pest. It’s a one-time sale with GIANT commissions for the rep. We left a good margin for the business- that said—

our goal is simple: help sales reps make lots and lots of money—especially during the time of year they need it most.

From the end of September through December- there isn’t a better product to sell than permanent lighting.

We will be running two-week blitzes throughout the fall, and will be the best permanent lighting business in the world.

If you’re a sales rep who wants to stack some commissions this fall, come run a blitz with us.

It’s only a two-week commitment—and I’m serious when I say the commissions AND overrides make a lot of sense.

@zach_bodhaine is actually HIM. 260K was his previous best summer to over 1,000 accounts serviced this summer. Making 75% on that revenue. Do the math!! AND he owns it and will continue to collect on that revenue for many years to come!

Zach has one of the coolest stories that I have been able to witness since I've been in the game. I remember golfing with him before the summer and I asked him his goal and he said I think 500K. He ended up committing to it and right with it out down what it would actually take to give himself a chance.

He went out earlier than normal and worked way more hours than normal and started realizing that he could do even more.

Zach will have his own segment in our training library that reps will have access to to learn from!! by @egpc_d2d

JASPER JUST HIT $500K IN PERSONAL REVENUE

This man has been an absolute workhorse all season.

Half a million dollars doesn’t happen by accident. It happens from relentless consistency, showing up every single day and refusing to let up when things get hard.

Jasper put in the work and the results speak for themselves.
Congrats Jasper, this milestone is well earned. đŸ”„ by @egpc_d2d

The doors make you money. Building a team gets you rich💰

As this season comes to a close, one thing has become clear. The reps who built the most weren’t just the ones grinding solo, they were the ones who built a team around them.

Recruiting isn’t a side task. It’s the most lucrative move you can make in this business. Every rep you bring on and develop becomes leverage, growth and income that outlasts any single door you knock yourself.

This season showed what’s possible when guys stop thinking only about their own numbers and start thinking about who they can bring up with them. The strongest teams weren’t accidents. They were built with intention, mentorship and guys willing to invest in someone else’s success.

If you want to build something bigger than a good season, start building your team. That’s where the real opportunity lives.đŸ”„ by @egpc_d2d
