EGYM will be taking over at @gimic.radio 🔊

On Friday, October 9, we’ll be in charge of the shows from 6 to 9 p.m. We’re excited to have b—ke and MalMeQuer as guests, who‘ll be joined by EGYM collective member yamyam.

b—ke @b_______ke tries to search for refreshing, genre bending songs. To keep her sets refreshing, she preferably goes for genre-hopping blends: from beatbox percussion to bassy dubstep sounds, everything will be included! Her sets are a high-energy mix of rhythm, percussion, and bass-loaded beats, with an eye for experimental tracks.

yamyam @ebd.mae is a Hamburg-based multidisciplinary artist and DJ whose sets explore the intersections of Bass, Breaks, as well as Leftfield Techno and House. Always along thumping basslines, spherical pads, and syncopated rhythms, she crafts moments that are dancefloor-driven and sensitively textured. yamyam has performed at venues such as Vórtice Club Lima and on platforms like Operator Radio in Rotterdam and Relink:Data in CDMX.

MalMeQuer @malmequerido (aka Matias Rocha Moura) is a Brussels-based performer, DJ and radio curator. Originally from Portugal, they pursued dance from an early age, working across Europe. In Brussels, they co-founded ENTWINED, a theatrical and audiovisual radio collective, and are resident at Kaai Theater, Kiosk Radio and Volta. Since 2021, DJing has become their alter-practice: high-energy, sexy, dancy mixes made for the dance floor.

It’s gonna be hot, so take care of yourselves and each other. No means no. Always.

Racist, sexist, transphobic, queerphobic, ableist, body-shaming or any other discriminatory behaviour will absolutely not be tolerated. If you cross that line, we’ll personally kick your ass out.

No pictures. No videos. No flashlights.

Be respectful, be kind and have a good fucking time.

Thanks @resident_advisor for the pick - see you tomorrow! 🩷 by @egym__

For over a decade, Paranoid London have done things strictly on their own terms, delivering raw, stripped-back club music with a live energy that’s reshaped the scene.

From Glastonbury, Sónar, Dekmantel, and Movement to iconic clubs like Fabric, Panorama Bar and Pacha, they’ve built a fierce reputation for intense, immersive shows.

Three albums, countless 12“s, and endless edits later, the duo are as restless and unpredictable as ever. And now, they’re finally bringing that energy to our beloved Hamburg. ❤️

We’ve been waiting for this one. Two hours of their hybrid live set in the scene’s legendary living room, the Golden Pudel. We couldn’t be more excited. 🐩 taken in Pudel Musik Club UG by @egym__

EGYM BLOCKPARTY AT VIVA LA BERNIE

We are excited to announce that we will be part of the annual Bernstoffstraßenfest. The event is organized by residents for residents and supports the Viva la Bernie project.

For this occasion, Berlin based Evin will be performing together with Ilja Franz.

They’ll be bringing together seductive basslines, percussive rhythms and driving elements with unconventional structures of leftfield house.

EGYM’s Newinfluenzer will be teaming up with Wendy, our longtime friend who’s new to the booth. Completing the lineup is yamyam, also from EGYM collective.

We’ve been huge fans of BOBBIE* for years, especially the way she weaves cold electronics into dark electro and post-punk.

As a Golden Pudel resident and co-host of the ACID TEARS nights, her sound is a deep journey through underground machine funk, sinister soundscapes, and chirping 303 modulations. Expect a dark, relentless mix of acid, techno, and wave, broken up by warm melodic interludes. We are so happy to have her join this stacked lineup.
