Autumn brings cold nights and heating that switches on and off. Room temperatures change quickly, and your aquarium water changes with them.

The thermopreset holds a fixed 25 °C. The thermocontrol is set manually, the thermocontrol e electronically, and the thermocontrol+ e from your phone with the app. All four are suitable for fresh and marine water.

Which one fits your tank?

A filter does more than move water. Inside the media, millions of beneficial bacteria keep your aquarium in balance.
That is why gentle cleaning goes a long way. A light rinse in a bucket of aquarium water and the biology stays intact.

As temperatures drop, your pond fish slow down too. Their metabolism can’t keep up with regular feeding anymore, and food left undigested does more harm than good.

Below 10°C, cut back. Below that, stop feeding until spring.

The water keeps moving though. Oxygen still matters, even in the quiet months.

Days are getting shorter. Your fish and plants feel it too is your light keeping up? 🌗
As autumn sets in, natural daylight hours drop fast, and your aquarium’s lighting schedule should follow. Too much light now can stress plants and encourage algae; too little, and your fish lose their rhythm.
With EHEIM powerLED+ / powerRGB and LEDcontrol+e, adjusting your light cycle takes seconds via the EHEIM Connect app no guesswork, just the right light for the season.

The DUO You’ve Been Waiting For.
What makes a great DUO?
Think about the tools you use every day the kind of pairing where each device makes the other smarter, and together they become more than the sum of their parts. That’s the idea behind
“The DUO You’ve Been Waiting For.”

At EHEIM, we’ve built exactly that kind of duo for the aquarium
and it lives inside our EHEIM Digital family:
EHEIM pro5e our digital external canister filter
EHEIM autofeeder+e our digital automatic feeder
On their own, each is a category leader: clean, crystal-clear water on one side; precise, worry free feeding on the other.
But the magic happens when they talk to each other.
Connect them over WiFi, and the pro5e automatically reduces its flow for 10 minutes during every feeding cycle so the food your fish are meant to eat doesn’t get swept straight into the filter. When feeding is done, flow returns to normal. No feeder ring needed. No waste. No guesswork.
That’s the EHEIM Digital promise: devices that communicate, coordinate, and take the daily routine off your hands while giving your fish the best possible environment.
For aquatics enthusiasts who want a smarter aquarium, this is the duo worth waiting for.
