What if learning the alphabet sounded like Afrobeats? For Ehinome Ogbeide ( @ehis_og ), the future of children’s learning starts with music that feels familiar to them.

With Bina AI, he is using artificial intelligence to create personalized songs and stories that reflect a child’s age, name and cultural background.

Built around the idea that African children deserve learning tools that understand their world, Bina puts creativity at the centre of the experience.

After years working behind some of Afrobeats’ biggest streaming successes, Ogbeide is building something that could change how the next generation learns.

Because of the work I do around creativity and music, I interface with music almost every day. I either work on it, build around it, or work with the people who create it.

And the more I work with music, the more I realise that some of the most powerful parts of an artist’s story are not always sung by the artist.
Sometimes, they come from the voice that prayed for them before the world knew their name.

Starting October listening to these 7 prayers just feels so right by @ehis_og

Earlier this year, I shared a few predictions for 2026 across music, AI and the creative economy.

We are now in August, and I wanted to revisit them.

Not to say “I told you so.” , but I did 😂
But because some of the signals we are seeing in the market are becoming too significant to ignore.

Had an incredible time at @wits__university for the Witz AI & Africa Music (AIAM) Showcase. Sharing Bina AI with a room full of researchers, innovators and culture shapers was a real highlight.

Spaces like this don’t just spark ideas, they question Essence and shape the future of Africa.
Let’s keep Building!!!!

Glad to be part of pioneering leaders representing Africa and shaping the continent’s music ,creativity and AI infrastructure.

Over the years my career into music has evolved from A&R, to Talent management and then leading distribution at one of Africa’s Top Label’s to now building multiple platform and Products including Bina.ai. Excited to be building with my partner Ashuza as we birth Bina.ai (an AI platform merging music and learning for children) into the world in partnership with @wits__university @witsmind_ supported by @billboardafrica
Shoutout to all our Technical advisors and the entire team.

Every season has felt like a hunt: Calculated, Precise, Strategic. Silent until the moment of impact.

That’s what a lion does: it studies, it moves with intention, and when it strikes… it changes the entire landscape.
