i never expected to make this post, but it truly does mean a lot to me. rest in peace peter cullen. my mom would sit me down in front of our windows 98 microsoft desktop, watching G1 transformers cartoons to distract my autistic ass while she got work done. little did she know that it would take a hold on me. peter cullens voice as optimus prime helped in growing me. a leader that i looked up to, a voice of reason, encouragement, compassion, and mostly, kindness. as a child until now, the speeches in transformers movies and shows always gave me a boost in confidence in myself and reminded me constantly of how i should be as a person. its funny looking up to a robot and trying to lead in his footsteps, but its also pretty real to me. i wouldn’t be who i am without peter cullen. without optimus prime.
