Meet the materials.

Resin.
Gilding.
Imperfection.
Time.

ÉHONTÉ was never meant to feel factory made.
The materials carry fingerprints, texture, weight, inconsistencies.

Because identity does too.

I’ve always been more interested in objects that feel lived with than objects that feel perfect.
Things that look sculpted instead of manufactured.
Artifacts instead of accessories.

“Meet the materials” is really an invitation to look closer.

Not just at what the pieces are made of.
But at what they’re trying to say.

For a long time, I separated myself from ÉHONTÉ.

I spoke about the atelier as if it were something outside of me.
Something I created.
Something I directed.
Something with its own identity.

But through my latest Unknown Study, I realized something:

I am ÉHONTÉ.

Not because I own it.
Because I embody it.

ÉHONTÉ has always been an extension of the way I see, question, dress, create, transform, and become.

And now, I want to extend that invitation to you.

When you wear an ÉHONTÉ piece, I invite you to embody ÉHONTÉ.

Not to become me.
Not to imitate an image.
But to enter the world of ÉHONTÉ and make its aura your own.

Wear it with intention.
Give it your posture, your movement, your presence.
Allow the piece to become different because you are inside of it.

ÉHONTÉ does not become complete when I finish making the piece.

It becomes complete when you embody it.

The bare neck beneath a structured jacket. The detail left deliberately absent. Tension gives the silhouette somewhere to breathe.

My hands have always been how I bring ideas into the world.

Through ÉHONTÉ, they create Forms that embrace boldness and imperfection. Now, I want the work of my hands to help create new possibilities for others.

This is why I chose to support Associação Dar a Mão through Form Matters, helping children and adults with limb differences receive 3D-printed prosthetic devices.

I also had the privilege of speaking about this commitment at the Brazilian Consulate in New York.

Because every form matters. Every contribution matters.

It’s one of those rare moments you get to share your story with the world. To inspire others, to maybe teach something they don’t know and yet I am the one leaving full of wisdom from the people I’ve met.
